Baymont by Wyndham Rapid City

We have stayed at this hotel every summer for a few years now. The room has always been clean, but this time our room was quite dirty. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped and still had something all over it from someoneS previous stay. The bedside tables were dirty and dusty. The carpets were very stained. Quite dissapointed. We will be looking at other places to stay after this.

The first thing we saw when we got off the elevator was around 20 empty boxes piled up in the hallway, which immediately gave the impression that cleanliness and upkeep were not a priority. Unfortunately, it only got worse when we entered our room. The bathroom had dirty towels left behind, there was hair stuck to the shower wall, the carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, and there were stains on both the chairs and the carpet. The only positive thing I can say is that the beds appeared to be clean, which was the one saving grace. What was most disappointing was the staff’s response. They were completely unapologetic and showed little concern when we brought these issues to their attention. A sincere apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way, but instead we were left feeling like our concerns didn’t matter. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service.

Stayed 2 nights, front desk not always staffed. Room needed vacuuming. Bath floor needed mopped. Elevator by pool always dirty floor.

It is close to the interstate but the people staying there were setting off fireworks late into the night, the breakfast didn’t have as many offerings as we are used to. The price was more than expected - value was not worth the $. Parking was minimal due to 2 store fronts attached to the property. Probably won’t stay there again.

that is not match with service and the cost of the room . No drinking bottle water to guest.

The hotel was dirty. There were clumps of hair in the pool. The room was dusty, the walls dirty and the sink was clogged. We won't use this hotel brand again.

Although the room was clean the furniture etc is very worn and somewhat dirty. Not the best hotel I have stayed in. The breakfast was pretty good. Typical hotel food but good

The room was clean. The bathtub did have some soap buildup on it though. The pillows were lumpy and not comfortable. Front desk was helpful. Breakfast had a decent selection. Overall it was okay. Just a place to rest our heads for the night.

Good location

Busy hotel, so a bit grubby. No towels in the pool, hot tub was grungy, pool deck was not clean.

Decent place to stay we were on a fast country trip and it was convenient

Two night stay with family. Comfortable stay with easy access to get around to the locations we wanted to access.

The room was clean but dated. Breakfast options were more limited than other hotels

Room furniture was stained, beat up, desk chair was broken. Common areas were dirty and not maintained. Exterior door didn't latch.

Would I refer this hotel to anyone. NO I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Would I ever use this hotel again absolutely NOT!!

This property could use a major renovation job.

The lock on the side door didn't work was unlocked all the time. needs to be repaired
