Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rapid City

Room was clean, everything worked well, extended a stay by a night without changing rooms, great water park too!

This made things much more difficult, especially while everyone was trying to take showers and we were relying on the TV to keep my child occupied.

We were there for five days . And I will say the hotel and water slides were awesome. But both rooms we occupied were only cleaned once and only because we asked . We stayed on third floor right next to elevator

The stay was mixed. The room was clean and decent, and the breakfast attendant was helpful, with gluten-free muffins available. Skimpy bedding . However, paid parking was overcrowded, ungated, and lacked security. The pool was outdated and extremely crowded. The advertised water park was smaller than expected, and the two main slides were broken throughout the stay with no clear repair timeline. Staff did not offer compensation for the closed attraction, especially for guests who booked through third-party sites. Overall, the amenities did not meet expectations.

The only negative is that all 3 big slides and the lazy river were shut down the entire time we were there BUT i understand that isn't the hotel's fault. While disappointing, it is what it is and my 7yo son still had fun with the other stuff open in the water park. Other than that, staff was nice, location is great, room was nice and clean, breakfast food was good. I'd recommend this to others and hopefully the issues are fixed in the water park for others to enjoy.

The breakfast area was not well laid out, which caused the line of 20+ people to move very slowly. A few small changes would have made the line much more efficient.

Clean comfortable beds and rooms. Probably the best shower head in any hotel room I’ve stayed in. The rooms were thoughtfully designed. It even had a night light in the bathroom so we didn’t have to flip on the main light and wake everyone up. 4 issues though. #1- the bathroom exhaust fan was on the wall above the toilet. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so dirty it was furry. #2- I chose this hotel so my teenage son could use the slides/tubes in the water park. Except that’s exactly what was broken and unusable. The little kid section worked but that didn’t help us. Definitely did not get our moneys worth there. #3- the walls are paper thin and you can hear every crying baby and loud talker within a few rooms of yours. #4. Lastly, don’t eat at Sliders. The food was not good.

It was amazing! So clean and so quiet! The best!

This was an excellent place to stay! We have an 8 and 13 year old and they both loved the water park. We spent the day sightseeing and the evenings at the water park! The Water Park was so convenient, we could order food and drinks to our table! We really loved everything about this hotel.

Excellent, was able to check in early with no issues. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, all around highly recommend!

Most of the tv stations didn’t work and the fold out bed was horrible

Breakfast had a lot to offer. Room was clean and parking was easy. Would definitely stay again. The water park was an added bonus.

Really enjoyed our stay. Clean room, helpful staff. Waterpark was great. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was okay the first two days then it was the same exact thing every day, eggs and sausage everyday. The staff working the front counter were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and the bathroom was huge. The waterpark was fun and my kids had a blast.
