Water park was broken down and prettt much ruined our stay.

A lot of the water park was closed during our stay. Our room was large with a nice kitchen and fridge set up. This was nice. The handicap accessible shower was terrible. Every time someone showered you had a pool of water all over the bathroom. When we checked into the room there was hard shredded cheese on the kitchen floor. So it could have been cleaner.

We had the best time! Definitely cannot wait until our next visit. The breakfast was awesome and the waterpark was so fun for the whole family.

Wonderful place to stay friendly staff , room was perfect , breakfast was actually good.

I booked the room through Expedia for $193.45 but was charged $219.27 from Residence Inn after we left. There is no connection between the quoted price when I booked and the charged price. For example the quoted room rate was $154.10 but the bill from Residence Inn says the room rate is $184.86. I feel duped and would not use Expedia since they're service seems to just be a hypothetical guess about how much you'll be charged.

Breakfast had good variety loved the 1 bedroom suite layout for our family of 5. Not enough towels provided, but they did give additional when requested. Watiki resort access was the highlight of the trip for my kids. So many slides. A little difficult for my 2 year old because he wasn't old enough for a lot of the things, but still loves swimming in the pool woth the hoops.

All around great stay.

Great room, clean and comfortable beds- a well stocked breakfast. But the real reason you are there is the proximity to all the black hills have to offer with a waterpark for the hot afternoon “cool downs”. Stayed for three days and my kids would have loved to extend. Rushmore, Custer state park, badlands, crazy horse, and the minute man museum all within an hour of the location.

Was a wonderful stay! Hotel and room appeared clean. Kids loved the water park.

The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. We will not return to this property or stay at this brand again after our experience. We travel 7-9 times a year and usually stay at Marriott brands. We will be moving on to a different brand moving forward

The water park is nice and the suite made it feel like a small apartment which gave us enough room to not feel like we were on top of each other!

A bit tricky to get to sometimes because of road traffic, but convenient to many points of interest.

Our room was farthest from elevator - 354 steps roundtrip from our car. This is too far for a senior couple. The TV did not work properly. Breakfast was mediocre. Marriott can do better.

​This morning around 8:30 AM, I tried to address Alyssa's behavior with the front desk agent, Amerie (or a similar name). She just blew me off and ignored me, likely trying to save her friend. After checking out, I noticed a random $10 charge on my bill. I called the hotel and was told it was a vehicle parking fee. When I told her I didn't bring a vehicle, she snapped that I should've mentioned something—as if I'm supposed to just know their policy! I told her, 'Well, you should've asked!' She claimed I would be refunded, but she never even asked for my name until I pointed out that she had no idea who I was. I don't know if it's something in the air at this Residence Inn or if they just choose who they want to be nice to, but overall, the way we were treated was disappointing and disgusting

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was delicious and so great to start our busy days with good food in our stomach. We used the laundry facilities and that worked great. The water park was SO fun. The kids had such a great time. My only complaint was the water park was really busy since there are other hotels connected to it. It was hard to find a spot to sit and fresh towels. The kids didn't seem to care though.

Breakfast is done way to early for my liking when the kids just wanna sleep in a bit 9am isn’t it usally 10 everything else prefect!

Residence Inn was clean, smelled nice, had great amenities and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast each morning is a nice bonus. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The suite was clean, spacious, comfortable and everything we needed. There was a full kitchen (except there is no oven) that was perfect for our stay. We had groceries delivered from the local Walmart to be able to eat in a few times. Our family of 4 found this location, hotel, and Waterpark exactly what we needed for our vacation out to South Dakota! We would highly recommend. The hotel is attached to a restaurant and WATERPARK!!! The Waterpark was so FUN! Water slides, lazy river, activity pool, hot tub, large water fort for kids. Adults and kids loved the Waterpark. We ate at Sliders twice and food was great each time. You can also have it delivered to your Waterpark table, bonus. There is also an arcade above the restaurant, which was another added bonus for the kids. Highly recommend. Close to the Badlands, Custer state park, Mt. Rushmore, Bear Country USA, Needles Highway, etc. Excellent location!
