My Place Hotel - Rapid City, SD

It definitely smells like a pet friendly hotel. However, it was very clean. No real extras, but it is a good nights sleep. Easy to get to all the attractions.

Perfect place for a stopover.

The staff for the front desk stayed hidden in an office with the door closed. You had to go to a phone and dial ‘0’ to get them to come out.

Great stay here. Room was very spacious and clean. Convenient location. Loved it.

The staff person was excellent.

Do not trust Expedia! I paid extra for a roll away bed and was told they do not offer roll away beds and it's something Expedia has been false advertising!!

Initially the facility looked very clean and maintained and the staff very accommodating. But after my mom in another room had 2 bugs run up her neck in the middle of the night and me finding numerous small bugs in the bathroom and then what I call a barn spider about 2” across in the morning I was questioning maintenance. At the very least it needed to have an exterminator come. I did mention it to the woman at the front desk she was politely apologetic. For medical reasons we were required to stay for 4 more days. Rebooking here is not an option.

Staff was amazing, room 122 didn’t smell the greatest and there was left over dog food and dog toys under the bed, don’t know why we were put in the dog room out of all the rooms but I’m sure the other room smell better, other than that the room was clean.

this place is so messed up - no hot tub thats fine but then there is no plug so you can use the bath tub either. There is a kitchen but no pans to cook with -no dishes -silverware or cooking utensils. When I inquired at the front desk I was informed they were not allowed to provide them because there was no dishwasher state law and that we needed to bring our own. The wash machine in the laundry area took our coins then they got stuck - fortunately the front desk clerk was able to take it apart and she was awesome but said the machine was always doing that. Aside from the fact that both desk clerks were totally beyond awesome this was the worst motel of the 4 we had stayed in on our trip. Chose this place because of the kitchen and laundry which basically is the only ammenities-kitchen might as well not exist so cost more than it was worth

There was no shampoo or body wash in the shower because the containers were empty. There was only one washcloth in the bathroom. The toilet was filthy. The garbage was overflowing outside the entrance to the hotel. Overall, the property was very unkept and dirty.

Very nice stay will stay again. Liked the room layout!

Staff was not responsive or helpful, hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, and roaches were present in the rooms. Don’t usually rate places low, but would not return here.

Only stayed one night, but my room was very nice. Would definitely recommend!

Breakfast is extra, I thought it was included.

Good place for one night. Close to the airport. No real amenities. Not actually the hotels fault but very noisy with the allowance of pets...barking dogs most of the night.

Clean room, nice staff. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
