Cambria Hotel Rapid City near Mount Rushmore

While there aren't many restaurants in the immediate surrounding area, the hotel itself features a nice, small indoor pool that the family really enjoyed. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing trip to recharge, this is a great spot!

The rook was clean and parking was easy. The beds were soft and we did not have any problems at this location.

Location, pool, large suite

I was very underwhelmed by this property. All of the furnishings are old and dilapidated the chairs in the bar/restaurant have cheap polyester covers over chairs that have been used so much. The vinyl is gone. The room itself again. The furnishings were old and dirty and fraying myself on the edges. There was only one trashcan in the room. It was in the bathroom unless they do a major renovation I would not recommend this hotel.

Airport shuttle was convenient

Opened the door and greeted with a nasty stain on the carpet, stains on the couch, 2 pictures or a mirror missing from the wall. We had to ask for towels before we could even shower as the room was not stocked. The only thing clean was the lobby

Our bathtub drain was plugged making a shower not possible. They promptly moved us.

This hotel was convenient from the airport especially since we needed an airport shuttle as we were picking up our rental the next morning. The hotel staff were also helpful in taking me to the car rental that was in town (it was $1000 less in cost renting a car in town than through the airport). The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was limited, but the food was fine. Rooms were spacious especially since we needed the pull out sofa too. Good stay for a short trip or looking to travel on from that point.

The room and hotel was clean. The toilet needs repaired as it was cracked and leaking. Am staff was super friendly, PM staff was ok. There was no hand soap in room and used lotion bottle so we had to get that replaced. There was boxes of food that was left from prior quest. So how deep cleaning is being done. For the price we paid it could have been better.

Overall it was a decent hotel.

It was easy and quick check in, that staff were polite and delightful and it was close to the visitors center and Dakotahs which we enjoyed for dinner!
