The hotel room was very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

All the amenities you would want including single k cup coffee maker. Clean, all staff very helpful.

Friendly staff and a great breakfast!

I was pleasantly surprised at the value I got for the money at this property. The hotel was very nice, clean, good amenities and not far off the beaten path (I-90) so I could quickly get to the property after a long day of driving and then back on the road the next morning. Very comfortable room. I had my dog with me and while I indicated that in the online reservation I made, the people at the desk couldn't find it when I checked in and I just nabbed the last room they have set aside for people with pets. So, if bringing a pet, I highly recommend you call the hotel if you make your reservation online and confirm that they have noted that. Otherwise, you may not get a room. I will definitely stay here again.

Clean and new

Convenient, clean and good staff!

Quit and clean. Breakfast was good

Room was mostly clean minus a few crumbs and what looked like greasy spots on the headboard. Staff seemed nice especially the breakfast staff. They seemed more friendly than the front desk staff. Breakfast was okay. A person who I travel with thought it was good and he usually complains. Pool area was basic but good. My daughter thought the pillows were so comfy. No insects that I could see which made me relieved since it seems to be a common review in several of the hotels we looked at in Rapid City. Location was convenient to several tourist sites and normal city things. Seems like a safe and clean area. Easy parking.

Our only problems were with noise. 1. The ceilings were thin or not carpeted thickly enough so we could hear the people walking around above us at all hours. 2. The climate control in our room worked well but it whistled all night. 3. Whenever the people above us ran the water in their bathroom, there was a loud dripping noise in our bathroom, although we did not see any water dripping through the ceiling. We had to keep our bathroom door closed due to this because we could hear it in the main room as well. 4. At 1 AM, a group of travelers with suitcases spent about 5 minutes trying to get into our room, jimmying the door knob and throwing themselves against the door, waking us up. At first we thought we were being robbed. My husband finally got up and answered the door. They apologized and moved on to the next room. Perhaps they were lost. I am not sure if they got wrong directions from the front desk. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. Fortunately, the commissary at the front desk sold headache medicine for a fair price in the morning.

I was given a pet friendly room and it smelt like a dirty dog. Room was clean but was very disappointed in the smell. We tried to stay out until last minute until we slept because of the smell. We also could not control the thermostat in our room. It wasn't too hot but would have liked it to be a little cooler.

Nice clean rooms

This was a decent place to stay for one night. The staff were kind despite some minor issues getting us checked in, the breakfast was passable, and the room was clean.

The motel was very nice. I had a great visit. I will return some day! You need another waffle maker at the breakfast bar. Too many people making waffles. They must have been really good. 😋

The only drawback is that it is on the opposite side of town from all of the tourist destinations. But it seems like a brand new hotel and I had no complaints whatsoever about anything hotel wise, very nice property, friendly staff.
