Best Western Braintree Inn

The hotel appeared to be very quiet when we stayed, I'm not sure of the reason for this but wonder if it is more of a business hotel rather that regular tourist hotel. the hotel is very well connected with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Breakfast consisted of some crispy bacon, eggs, prepacked pastries, yogurt from a dispenser, a small selection of cereals and apples and oranges. We did find during our trip both of the Best Western hotels that we stayed at use disposable cutlery, plates and cups, this is presumably to save on labour costs, however the lack of recycling of these items was rather surprising, especially from a brand such as Best Western whom I think need to make improvments in this area.

Only stayed one night after we got there quite late. Left early the next morning! Price was fair for its location

Breakfast was great

Dated decor (almond shower with loud fan), dim lighting, plastic mini toiletry bottles that were only half full (and bad for the environment), no coffee maker in the room, distracted staff more concerned about watching security cameras and warning of a litany possible fines than welcoming guests and inedible breakfast (I literally poured out my coffee and drove to Starbucks instead). Would not stay here again. Will try the nearby Hyatt next time I travel here for work.

From the time I arrived it was a great stay. Staff friendly and helpful; property very clean; and the free breakfast offered more than I thought it would for the overall price for the night's stay. I'll be back!!

Easy parking, good location for our needs. The breakfast was kind of sparse, but the scrambled eggs and yogurt were good. Ample parking.

We were also charged an additional $20 at check-in because our older daughter is over 12. This charge was not clearly disclosed when I made the reservation through Hotels.com, so it came as an unexpected surprise. This was the worst hotel experience of our entire East Coast trip, without a doubt. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again, and I would not consider Best Western for future trips.

Reasonable and clean. Accessible to sightseeing and MBTA station.

Good staff that are friendly and work well with people from differing my cultures. Welcoming and real people, exactly how it should be.
