Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree

This property is very outdated. Some spaces were clean and maintained well, like the pool, but our room, the air units, the door locks, were not. I would not recommended this property until the renovations that are supposedly happening next year occur.

Hot tub was under repair and the distance to the Red Line subway station required a hotel shuttle to go into Boston. Also no restaurants within walking distance.

Unfortunately the toilet in our room wasn’t working but staff showed us how to fix so we didn’t have to change rooms

I would definitely stay here again.

The floor lamp was broken needs to be repaired. Everything else wasn’t good order. There might’ve been a short bedside lamp. We got everything else about the hotel was very very.

Overall we were disappointed with our stay. Beds were hard, hotel was overall dirty and it took hours to get towels. The hot tub also needs repair. Our daughter cut her back on one of the tiles.

Easy check in/check out, friendly front desk staff, basic chain hotel room with typical amenities, complimentary shuttle available for getting to the MBTA, nice complimentary breakfast, pool/whirlpool/fitness room available. Overall satisfied with my stay.

We liked the free breakfast from 6 -10 am. There was issue with the systems going down and I was not able to get into my room. The front desk attendant opened our door for us since our key card did not work, until the system was back up. We were printed new cards and had no issues after that. We enjoyed the shuttle service. And we appreciated them holding our bags so we could explore the mall after checkout.

Easy shuttle to Boston, all but 1 staff member friendly. The hotel breakfast was good, but the hotel itself while clean, could use some updates. We had issue with shower not draining, toilet had water saving device that caused us to have to remove back and push on the lever for every flush. The bed was comfortable, great pillows.

All good except for the reason I stayed here. Looked for an 'airport hotel'. This was listed as being such. Not true. Distance to Logan was 13 miles and 20 min. without traffic. I was lucky. Tired of hotels at a substantial distance to airport billing themselves as 'airport hotel'. Happened to me in Chicago. The search engine has no quality control mechanism to weed out distortion. Get it together Expedia/Hotwire.
