Hyatt Place Boston/Braintree

Bed was very comfy, room temp control good, and nice to sit on (pullout) sofa to watch TV. Everything was clean and updated. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price.

FRIENDLY STAFF

I can see the room was pretty much renovated while partially on bathroom. The room itself was clean but the bathroom smelled bad and the cabinet/bathroom door seemed old. It was not from poor cleaning but from being old. When I slept at the bed after taking shower the area of my bare skin(where clothes not covered) were badly itchy all over. I am pretty sure there were some bedbugs cause when I tried to wash off some area with water for my itch skin I saw a tiny bug on my arm. I had to iron the surface of comfort and bed linen to sleep. The breakfast menu were not tasty although there were variety of items.

Disappointing

The room was clean, and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good, with eggs, sausage, roasted potatoes, and fresh orange juice. I also appreciated having coffee, tea, and water available throughout the day. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
