Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Braintree

It was too short to really say.

Cleanliness is excellent, daily their team used to come in and clean the room and manage the bed and other area. the bathroom is just shower..no tub-bath available. Secondly, the shower is open one where water is going out of bathroom area which i not like.

Amazing breakfast, super clean. The only downside was that pool was too cool for our taste

Clean and Friendly. Breakfast was all you could ask for. Helpful and knowledgeable staff members. Didn't take advantage of the pool but if there is a next time, we sure will. Truly worth a return visit when back in Boston. Our room faced the highway which at times was a bit noisy. If the air conditioning system had a Fan ON feature even when not cooling, it would have been helpful in drowning out the traffic noises. Certain systems offer a continuous fan option. Our thermostat didn't seem to have that option.

The only downside was that the swimming pool was not heated, so the water was quite cold. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at a chain hotel and the bed very comfortable. The front staff was fabulous - they were able to provide a wheelchair at the last minute when we unexpectedly needed it. We could hear noises from the highway outside and the bed for the pull out couch was very uncomfortable for our daughter.

We have nothing but praise for the room, staff, breakfast & kitchen. If we had one complaint it would be rooms facing 128. The traffic noise is non stop.

This hotel had the best breakfast I've ever had. Huge selection and clean. The rooms are spacious. Location was perfect for Braintree area and getting around. Most of the staff were friendly and greeted us as we came and left with the exception of one lady who sat looking at her phone most of the time and didn't acknowledge us ever. Dark hair worked the daytime shift. The beds were not as comfortable as they could be and it was noisy next to the highway at night.

Property, staff and amenities are great - but my room was incredibly noisy due to highway traffic, which made it hard to rest.

Staff super friendly! Room and entire building was stylish and clean. Only drawback was small gym and the pool was cold. But it was an amazing stay overall.

Check in was ok. Room was very nice until we went to bed. I got up during the night to use the bathroom. When I turned on the light there were baby cockroaches running around on the floor and the vanity. I went into the kitchen to get a paper towel to kill the roaches. When I turned on that light there were baby cockroaches running around on the counter. I caught and killed at least a dozen. At 7 AM the next morning I went to the front desk with the dead roaches in a paper towel. I showed the woman at the desk the roaches and requested a new room. She said she couldn’t do anything until the manager came in at 9 AM. I then requested housekeeping to come and spray the room. She said she couldn’t do anything until the housekeeping manager came in at 9AM. Finally at 9 AM I was given another room. During the wait I killed 5 more roaches. At the very least the morning clerk should be able to make a simple decision like providing a new room. She did take my personal phone number and said the manager would be calling me to personally address the bug issue. It’s been 2, days and I’m still waiting for the call. The hotel is expensive. I would have expected a better response from someone. It was a very disappointing stay. My Bonvoy membership didn’t seem to help either.

The breakfast was delicious, lots of choices! The room was one of the largest I've ever stayed and very clean, the staff was very helpful and honest, I forgot 2 sweaters and they saved them for me. The restaurant next door food was delicious, best espresso martinis, service a little slow.

I was so so pleased with the cleanliness here. We have conferences in this area at least 4 times a year and this by far has been the most clean and modern place we’ve chosen to stay at. We will be back in September!!!

Exceptional

Nice spacious rooms, clean...convenient location to bus terminal

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My 15 year old son loved the breakfast each morning. The location was perfect. The room was great. Had everything we needed for our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would highlu recommend Residence Inn to family and friends. The only draw back was out room was facing the highway so was bit noisey and our toilet was a little wobbly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend Residence Inn to family and friends.
