Holiday Inn Express Brentwood South - Cool Springs by IHG

There was pee on the back of toilet , floors were dirt , shower had black mold in it. Would not recommend this place

Old outdated coffee bar. Little cream packets. Food was good. Room was noisy from people above at 10pm +. Wood floors. Cannot recomend

Well that room was also full of mold around the window and the ac I always carry Lysol wipes so I had to clean it and wipe down the desk and tables it appeared to look like black mold . And we lost all our food because the frig went out sometime that evening .

The AC wasn’t blowing cold air. There was mold in the room I was in. The ceiling was falling apart and the room had two cockroaches in it. The mini fridge was not working.

There is no pool open. Air conditioner didn’t work. Blankets had stains and we had to be moved rooms. We checked out half way through our trip due to air conditioner not working in our room.

Kitchen area was a little messy and food wasn’t replenished in a timely manner. Elevator had a weird slope and was noisy, as was the one luggage cart. Ice machine and water fountain weren’t working and the hallways were very warm and stuffy.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The rooms are quite dated, weren't properly cleaned, and have multiple items that need repair. Furthermore, the pool was locked and unavailable for guest use. The advertised pictures must be old, as they don't match the current reality. I'd advise looking for other accommodations.

The main issue was the staff. They didn’t seem happy to be at work. Our room was not cleaned, which was okay. I asked for clean towels. The look on her face said it all. Not going back anymore, too many great places to stay.

June 5-7,2026. June 5th the 1st room 103 had water leaking from the bathroom granite countertop even when the water was off along with water leaks in the ceiling covered up by terrible flat base white paint. The 2nd room 116 they moved us to had a dead roach in the middle of the bathroom floor. The 3rd room they moved us to 321 we rolled the luggage cart (it needs to be replaced and it's only one cart for the entire hotel) upon rolling the cart into the room the bottom bumper of the cart hit a wall tile that immediately fell on the floor. I checked the bathroom and 3 floor tiles in front of the bathtub lifted as soon as I stepped on them with slight water that can be seen in the grout of the tiles. The 4th room we moved to 301 shower head had a bit of lime deposit on it and we found a centipede crawling up the wall behind the bathroom door. The desk was falling apart. My husband bought cleaner from Publix and cleaned the bathroom, fixed the desk and we disinfected the room ourselves. Only reason we stayed is because the CMA Fest was that weekend & we couldn't find another room. We stuck it out in room 301. June 6th obvious water damage in lobby and breakfast area of the hotel, elevator stopped working, pool was closed & green/dirty looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years. On our walk to the pool we saw another dead roach in the hallway. Gym smelt old and musty. The manager Allison was nice and offered me 10,000 IHG points that I never received. #Don't stay here.

A convenient place to stay though a bit run down. Not the cleanest Express I’ve stayed in and a bit smelly. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and restful. The price was good

There were two live cockroaches in the room, and it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. I also needed fresh towels and had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The clerk handed me two towels after repeatedly touching his face, which made me uncomfortable using them. Overall, the cleanliness and service were well below expectations.

The hotel was very dirty and felt unsafe. After trying two different rooms, we checked out and went to a different hotel. Mold on ceilings, fluid stains on bed, dirty floors, tubs and bathrooms. The hotel was poorly maintained and felt unsafe. It was located behind a Home Depot, and I actually thought it was an abandoned hotel when I pulled around the corner. I appreciate hotels.com for resolving the issue and giving a refund.

Mold in the ceiling. Tub had lost coating around the drain.

Set us up in a room with a broken desk that you couldn't use. Hotel was dirty also. I'll never stay at holiday inn again.

Hotel is back in a hole and can be diff ultrasound to find pretty excluded from main road.

Roaches

Property is dated, in need of upgrades. Only plus is the eating/breakfast area, very nice. The rooms need help. Bathroom tiles are loose, broken with raised edges creating tripping hazards. Carpeting throughout looks dirty. I would not recommend this property.
