The view Mexican/Hispanic lady at the front desk was passive aggressive and discriminatory. Told us all suites or even deluxe king rooms were sold out. Which was a lie, I came back to the front desk to ask why I had been given a regular king room after booking a deluxe, also asked again if there were suites available and her co-worker said yes and was cheerful about upgrading us. Even called when we were upstairs to makes sure we were ok. The room is not well maintained. Dirty carpets. Dirty Drapes. Wear and tear on desks and side tables. There was a horrible fan noise that started at around 12am and persisted all night. They moved us to a sleep room at 2am after an engineer spent 40 minutes in our room trying to fix it. They offered to refund the upgrade amount (USD175) which was minimal in comparison to the full price. I hated my stay here and am going to call customer service for a full refund. This place really is poorly maintained and whoever the manager is doesn’t care that it affects the quality of guest stays. It doesn’t hold a candle to the quality of the 1Hotels in London, Los Angeles or even the Times Square location. Very disappointing.

Fabulous experience. Front desk staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. Especially while checking-in. Would come back again! Rooms are thoughtfully designed and have amazing views!
