Hotel room is clean and staff is nice. However, pool is not available for the entire Aug and breakfast is not included. Parking lot is outdoor and need to walk outside. Not very convenient for family with young kids.

The property was OK. The staff is friendly enough, but the place just seemed outdated They didn’t have a continental breakfast included and it was really overpriced for the breakfast. I enjoyed the stay.

Was not informed that the pool was under construction prior to booking. I specifically picked this hotel so I could bring my kids to pool. The fact that it was closed ruined the experience for us.

When we got there there was a sign that the pool was closed for renovations. This wasn't told to be when I was purchasing the hotel. We booked that place for the pool. The breakfast was insanely expensive. 14 dollars for a buffet all that was included was cereal, and fruit. Very disappointing. No parking, staff seemed very unfriendly

The window in our room was leaky, the AC vents were covered in fusy, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and the pool was unfortunately closed.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Buffalo carefully think twice before spending their money here. This review reflects my personal experience, what I personally observed, and statements made directly to me during my stay. I was staying in Room 710, and the physical condition of the property was shocking for a hotel carrying the Hilton name. I observed what appeared to be painter’s tape being used to hold portions of tile together. The room was also extremely uncomfortable, hovering around 77–78 degrees. In my opinion, portions of this property appear neglected and badly in need of maintenance, repair, and a serious cleanliness review. But the condition of the building was only the beginning. I had cannabis in my possession, which is legal for adults under New York law, although I fully understand that a private hotel may establish its own rules regarding where smoking is permitted. I specifically ASKED security where I was allowed to smoke and followed the direction I was given. Later, security confronted me and accused me of smoking in my room. There was no smoke in my room. Once that became apparent, the explanation suddenly changed to the alleged smell being on my clothing. What happened next was even more disturbing to me. The security employee looked toward my cannabis and made a comment that I personally interpreted as suggesting that I give him some.

Staff was wonderful. They were very helpful about the area restaurants and things to see. We stayed on floor 8. The floor is definitely in need of some new carpet. The location of the hotel is very well situated for things to do in Buffalo.
