Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown

Hotel stinks like a stale cigar in the lobby and rooms. Hotel staff were unpleasant. Lobby is under construction like the rest of Buffalo. Pool was out of service. What a terrible hotel.

Hilton is a great hotel chain, we often use them, this just wasn’t the best experience due to various incidents.

Clean rooms

It is a fine well run facility with pleasant, well trained staff. I’m retired now but in my career traveled to 39 states. Many hotels. We had a supplier agreement with Hilton so I was a well-travelled Hilton Diamond.

No coffee in lobby. Hotel was part of a high rise office building. Elevators were confusing.

Definitely not a place worth $400 a night. Lack of information at front desk on how the hotel key was needed for elevator and we were in there for almost 5 minutes to figure it out ourselves. I stepped on a carpet staple coming out of the bathroom. Had to go back up to room for towels for pool. Didn’t plan to have to wait 20 plus minutes for our free breakfast. Was hoping to have a worry/stress free night with the kids but instead kept getting surprises that tested the patience of the children and had the adults regretting the cost. Lesson learned was that sometimes even the most expensive isn’t the best. Marriot hotel for sure next time.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Staff used main elevators to move commercial size dumpsters around which caused a bad small. Room service staff missed cleaning room, left cleaning products and trash in room. Overall cleanliness was poor.

Slept great and had a good breakfast

NO AC! Staff unwilling to help. It was NOT a whole hotel issue as we had family staying in two different style rooms than ours and they had no issue.

Room was clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. Bar had a nice atmosphere. Parking was very easy. We would definitely recommend staying there. Not a bad thing to say about our stay. 🙂

We had no AC in our deluxe suit and were given so many stories saying it was the whole hotel (we had 2 family members stay in 2 different rooms and their AC’s worked) then told no maintenance was on staff. Then they didn’t answer the phone. Our room hit 79 degrees. That was so uncomfortable finally at 1:30am we were offered to move to a king room and they would bring 3 roll a way beds…. I asked if the rooms ac worked they said they were not sure and couldn’t check. We did not move as we had no idea if it would be any better. Very disappointed with Hilton

The hotel was conveniently located near Key Bank Arena and Canalside. The pool was nice. Our room was clean and spacious.

The room was very nice

There isnt a,whole lot of amenities for offer there. The staff was great. House keeping came by the room early and we weren't ready to go out. I asked the housekeeper if they could come back. She said she will try but never made an attempt to come back. That was no biggie. There is no breakfast included. I even got breakfast with my stay at a,Hilton in nyc. No complimentary coffee offered in the lobby. That is a,basic hotel offering.

Staff was super helpful

We only stayed at the Hilton for one night but we enjoy it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will be staying here again.
