Very expensive breakfast. Room was okay…not as expected.
-
The front desk clerk was nice and pleasant at the beginning of check in and gave me one bottle of water.

Good

The location was perfect for my needs (we had to visit the U.S. Passport Office). The room & furnishings were a wee bit tired (furniture battered, rug could use refreshing, shower/tub could use updating), but it was clean, comfortable, and not terribly expensive.

Rooms are very big. Everything was good.

Location was great The air conditioning didn’t work in our room and it made it miserable. They said they were sending an engineer up twice and that never happened. They did offer after we complained a second time to move our room but many of our friends were having the same issue in theirs.
-
Also, location wise, the hotel’s restaurant has pretty limited options for dinner (especially if you’re a vegetarian).
-
The property was well located in the heart of Downtown Buffalo and in 5 minutes walking distance towards City Centre. The hotel was less than half an hour from Niagara Falls. The staff were excellent. The breakfast did not have too many options.
-
For an expensive hotel I expected a much better experience. The front desk staff were very friendly however the rooms were extremely outdated, there was rust in the showers and no ventilation in the bathroom. The beds and pillows were old and uncomfortable and the $25 buffet breakfast consisted of microwaved eggs and basic foods. Would look for another place to stay next visit back to Buffalo

Cool Starbucks part of the hotel

Buffalo is a tired old city, with many remnants of its glorious industrial past decaying everywhere. This hotel, like all the other hotels in this city, has remnants of that past evident throughout. But the physical plant notwithstanding it does have some features to recommend it. There is a nice small gym and it's closer to restaurants and parking than many of the other hotels. My floor smelled strongly of cigarettes but not my room. The window in my room was cloudy with peeling weatherstripping. The staff went out of their way to accommodate requests. A Large screen TV was welcome.

Everything was great. Will be staying here again!
-
Our stay was brief. We didn’t utilize any of the amenities. I did have a great sleep.
-
Beautiful hotel with a solid staff! The carpet in our room had a couple large stains but other than that our room was really nice, bed comfy, bathroom clean! Great location downtown for walking to restaurants and bars. We would happily stay again!
-
Location was decent, the room was spacious. Had a good check out experience with a nice member of staff. Television lacked interactivity. Decor could have done with some freshening up.
-
Location may be good for convention, but not much street life for expensive downtown hotel. Minimal soaps and shampoo, had to go to front desk for ice.
-
Wonderful. Michael at check in was so sweet and welcoming, hotel was beautiful and a super convenient location.

The guy at the front desk was very rude. Seemed annoyed every time we talked to him. Made it very clear that we were not members and treated as such . We were there for an event that got rescheduled because of the weather. When we spoke to him about our options he would get really short with us and say he can’t control the weather. Pretty much told us that we were not members and that we used Expedia, and acted like he wanted us to figure it out with Expedia. All we were asking about was a late check out. We would have probably stayed another night or paid whatever we needed to, to get a late check out. The way he spoke to us made us not want to spend money at a Hyatt ever again.
