Although staff responded quickly to aTV that wasnt working properly, it turned out to be just a tempory fix. The problem reoccured in the morning. Upon checkout that day I addressed the concern again and no compensation was offered for the inconvenience

The restaurant attached to the hotel provided very good food and service. The faucet and sink set-up in the room was poor. The faucet was too small for the sink, and the hot and cold-water handles were so stiff and close to the backsplash, it was almost impossible to turn them on and off.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and well stocked. The food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay even though it was brief.

The room was clean and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. It was our Anniversary and they provided us with two pieces of cake and a bottle of wine as a surprise to our room! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the steak I had in the restaurant was super tough. They took a tiny amount off the bill to compensate but the wait staff were awesome. Overall a nice stay and I would book there again if needed.

The bed was comfortable, room service was quick and friendly. I also liked the daily housekeeping (if needed). The only thing that I didnt like is the size of the bathroom in my king size room. To close the door you have to stand on either side of the toilet sideways, or just do what my husband and I did and left it open. Once you sat down, the only way the door would close would be to swing your legs to the side. 1st and last time for everything right.

When I booked this room, I requested a double occupancy room with queen beds, however when we arrived, the clerk gave us a smaller room with double beds in it. When I complained about it, she was unapologetic and told us the only room they had with a queen bed was a handicap equipped room that we would have to move out of after the first night. A room with a king bed would be extra charge even though it wasn’t my fault. I was not happy.

I’ve never seen a hotel pool and hot tub so poorly maintained. There was a film of sludge/slime coating the pool to the point where footprints in it could be seen. The jets on the hot tub didn’t work. You don’t clean and maintain a pool simply by dumping chlorine into it. So gross!!

first off, hot tub is legit just a hot tub. hot water and no bubbles. jets are broken the pool had a foam like film on the top of it, made you feel greasy. temperate in there was crazy warm. wanted to use the courtyard located right outside the pool, but the doors don’t let you back in. so not sure the point of that. we gave dukes 3 tries in 36 hours. first time, got ignored for 15 mins to have menus thrown on table and no words send. note the restraunt was dead. we got up and left. went later in for drinks, it’s was okay but felt rushed to leave towards closing. next afternoon, got food and drinks. the bartender said no liquor as she couldn’t serve it. so i got mimosa. 10 mins later someone comes in and asked for a captian and coke…makes it no problem??? i also spent 20$ on a wrap that looked like a mcds snack wrap. pretty upset with this experience as this was a little staycation that was very needed. instead it was just disappointing.

There is an Italian restaurant right in front of the hotel, walking distance called The Chateau. Nice place, good pizza. Great distance to Gillette, easy access to 495.
