Days Inn by Wyndham Carlsbad

We were in the 1 bd suite, it was clean, having 2 queens in the room and the king in the adjacent room was great for our needs. Very basic but clean.

The staff is very helpful. I travel alone and it’s nice to hear good morning? How was your day? I stopped to chat with the front desk about my day! Súper homey feeling. Love the diner down the street. Love the park and beach close by. I’ll definitely stay here every time I visit Carlsbad.

Also the coffe ran out continuously so we had to ask for it often!!

The room was ready for us when we arrived, even when arriving 30 minutes before check-in. The pool was clean and available during our stay which for us is always a great way to start our trip after a long drive. The breakfast item was a pre-packaged pastry and the coffee was available throughout the day. The restaurants nearby were great alternatives for breakfast. The I-5 is right next to the hotel which can be l Ioud at times when near the pool, however, the room we were in was barely noticeable.

This is absolutely a basement bargain room.

The room itself was comfortable. The AC worked. Housekeeping was good After paying over $600 for two nights they asked for a security deposit of $100. That has never happened before. The property/room is right over the freeway and is very noisy. There are no amenities like breakfast snacks, though they said they would always have coffee, but the one time I tried it was empty (just bad luck). I did get the security deposit back.

and the fact that it was available Room was super basic. Traffic was noisy. Breakfast - even the staff said "I'm not sure I'd call it breakfast" and they were right.

The hotel is next to the I5 Freeway. It’s is really too noisy that you can’t get sleep.

Good hotel, very friendly staff. Next to an eight lane freeway. Extremely loud even inside the room. Can't use the pool because it's so loud outside. More toilet paper would have been nice.

Super friendly staff

The pool was great! Staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast is okay, it’s just a chocolate croissant, coffee or tea. I can’t complain since I wasn’t planning on just eating there. The freeway noise was the worst I will say. We got the room facing the freeway so it was hard to keep the window open. The door leaked a lot of light from the halls so I would literally wake up to a lot of light in my face.
