Courtyard by Marriott Carolina Beach Oceanfront

Beach front,clean, nice pool. Rooms were nice size. Elevators were on Fritz. 20.00 A day to park. ( it was refunded when we left). Carnival next door during peak season that does not close down til 10 pm so was a lil noisy.

Good view of the beach from the balcony. Everything was clean and the staff was great but I didn’t like the one elevator and paying for parking.

This place was absolutely perfect for a family with a young child. The staff were incredibly kind and gracious with suggesting activities and amenities to take advantage of. Shout out to the gentleman who worked at 4pm check in Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. He was a blonde bearded man with a few tattoos and he was so kind and really went the extra mile to make my child feel welcome for his first beach trip.

Breakfast was all microwave food. Not too good One of the elevators was not working. Sometimes it was a 10 minute wait. Then it stopped at every floor. I would have used the stars, but I was on the 8th floor.

I like the hotel in general. Friendly staff and nice place to stay 1 elevator was broken. It had some long waits to get to and from the room

Busy, maybe full so saw it in all its glory lol. Room wasn’t ready but in by 4:30. Elevator limited to one; waiting on part so just bad luck for us. Limited parking. Is great location & two pools plus next to carnival & boardwalk so is great for kids/families/partying. We were able to walk everywhere. We’re retired so next time seek something quieter.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! I stayed there for three nights and had to change my room three times. When I went to check in, I wasn’t told that they didn’t have any of the room type I booked available. They just gave me two room keys instead of one for the suite that I booked. They gave me two rooms that were adjoining and I was traveling with two children so we had to take just one room with two queen beds. Second night we went into our suite which was fine but then our third day we came back and both elevators were not working in the hotel and we were on the 10th floor so after four trips up to the 10th floor I asked if my room could be moved which they were accommodating and did move me but again I went from the suite that I originally booked and this time I had a king room so the kids had to sleep on the pullout bed.

The ocean view, the quietest, the balcony was awesome. Just being to sit on balcony and and listen to the ocean. I could sit and enjoy the pool also, just an awesome place to stay and walk everywhere you wanted to go down the broad walk. We will be back.just If both elevators was working, but sometimes things happen. We still enjoyed ourselves.

The facility & location are very good. Our room was clean & comfortable. Upon arrival the front desk staff was rude & not helpful at all. No carts available for our luggage & he basically said well you are on your own. We carried our own, waiting the 3 or 4 times on the elevator since there was only ONE working. I have no clue where the bistro was that was advertised.

Elevator didn't work

Good location, beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay there again unless the issue with the elevator is not resolved which I put that in the "what I didn't like' question. There were only two elevators and one was out the whole time we were there and apparently this elevator has been out for 4-5 months per staff. There was not even a service elevator and the cleaning staff had to use the elevator with the guests. Most of the time they were courteous and did not get on the elevator, they waited for the next one which I am sure put them behind schedule and taking care of guests request.
