Hampton Inn & Suites Carson City

Reception was amazing and bent over backwards to accommodate us with an early arrival. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean. Huge pool and gym. One of the best complimentary breakfasts and dining area that I have experienced. I also appreciated the covered parking.

The A/C kept changing its temp. and the fan wouldn’t stay on constantly, plus I think there needs to be more towels in the bathroom. Other then that , we enjoyed the place and the hospitality from the front desk staff

I did like the fact that they had free breakfast, WiFi worked great the whole time and it was nice to see an indoor pool and gym. The people staying above us were so loud all hours of the night after 10pm. The floors in the room didn’t seem like they were clean, bedsheets had some stains on it from before. Also, nobody took our trash out of our room or gave us any extra trash bags. Also rooms were very small and dated.

Room service could do a better job vacuuming up and cleaning hairs up before making it ready.

Staying in Carson City while spending days on Lake Tahoe is a good idea. Distance to the hotel is the same as commute to your hotel in South Tahoe, while time may be longer. You can find good restaurants and visit museums in the city. In sumner Carson City is hot as any west city in desert. It has its own charming.

When we checked in, a girl, Rian, was so helpful and pleasant to us. She recommended restaurants for us to eat at and checked on us daily. The last day we were there, there was a different man at the desk and when we told him the hospitality, breakfast did not have any forks his response was I know. He did nothing to try to get us forks. It was kind of hard eating a waffle with a spoon. Also, towels could be a little fluffier.

NO transport carts available. Food service had dirty tables and torn seating chairs.

The breakfast was good it changed every day. Nice pool indoors and spa.it had an excersize room. Coffee all day. The shower door in room 210 was falling apart. It was not installed correctly and was actually a hazard. The staff was notified.
