My Place Hotel - Carson City NV

Conveniently located large room and relatively quiet.

The room was clean. We were there, in Carson City, for five days. Three different times our keys would not turn the door lock green to let us in. One night there was no hot water. The water pressure in the shower was just above a drizzle. We were given only one washcloth and one hand towel. The fridge was fine and the stove worked, however, the were no dishes, glasses or utensils. We have stayed at many hotels with refrigerators and stoves and this was a first for us. We went to Walmart and bought the items we needed to cook breakfast. I’m just saying…..

Good place to stay if traveling to Lake Tahoe

BEWARE! They will turn off the hot water mid shower without warning! If you need new and clean towels you have to take the dirty towels in a basket to the front lobby before they exchange them for cleans ones. The staff if super rude and unprofessional. Lastly, the sheets on the bed were dirty and the room smelled terribly. Do not recommend. Please resort as a last option.

I would give them 5 stars but since I have 5 nights reservation 7/16-7/21, I was told at check-in that my room would be clean on the 4th day (7/19). After returning back from a long day of sightseeing and hiking, I can to a room that was not clean. I immediately went to see front desk, and I was told that housekeeping attempted to clean my room on 7/18 but I had a “Do not disturb” sign on my door. Mind you that the change in the cleaning schedule was not communicated to me. Front desk mediated by giving me the option to remove all the towels and beddings and she gave me new towels and beddings. I had to put my own beddings in the bed.

Location was great! Parking was convenient, place was clean, staff was friendly. No pool or other amenities tho. Washer & dryer don’t work well & one takes your coins it definitely needs to be fixed. Also you have to get quarters off property to use the machines as there is no quarter machine at the hotel. Other than that the place is great, clean & safe. Would stay again!

Front desk staff was mostly not there when needed. Room could be cleaner, found red stains in bathroom walls.

Bedding was very worn and the room was only semi-clean. Blanket nearly had holes in it. I am pretty certain the housekeeping did not change the duvet cover at all. It's fine, they're a long stay hotel and do less housekeeping visits, but they did not actually clean in any way in their one visit. The shades DO NOT block out any light at all. The window faced directly at the light in their parking lot and the gas station across the street, but had huge gaps on the sides. We also asked them about this, but they said there was nothing they could do.

The parking was nice and spacious . Accommodated me and my family nicely. Welcomed by friendly staff .

We love this place to stay at when we visit family. We always have wonderful service. There is always someone at the front desk day and night. My only complaint would be there is no water pressure late evenings. We think this may be because it’s when they are doing the laundry possibly. But other than that it’s a great place to stay and good value for the money. It’s so convenient to have microwave and full size fridge too. We will definitely stay again.

B before I booked I read all the reviews. They looked good so I went ahead and booked when we got there. It was about 10 to 3 and check in was at three. They said it would be about 20 minutes for our room to be ready that it was a special order never saying what the weight was all about 30 minutes later I asked what was going on and they said because I ordered a recliner that I care if the recliner was there or not I said no I didn’t care so they said they would have our room in a few minutes. Why did somebody not explain that to us? They weren’t real helpful at the front desk when we got to our room the bathroom sink was very slow. It didn’t drain very fast. The toilet something weird was going on with that other than that the room was good. I just wish they would have the people at the front desk to explain things to people instead of just telling them wait.

Shower head was leaking and broke off when I tried to use it. No maintenance in house so could not be repaired and we could not be moved due to hotel being fully booked. I ended up hand tightening it and we got by. I also heard another guest complaining about an issue with her room as well.

I never checked in and cancelled in correct time and the manager decided to charge my credit card and im currently disputing with Expedia because the manager woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Trying to make a bonus! Dolt recommend this hotel at all. They don’t follow guidelines and rules. Better called Rogue hotel

All is good

It was smelling nasty. The corridor was awful smelling. The room didn't have hot water. Had to call the front desk. It took 2 hours to get the hot water running in the room. The receptionist , she was the worst. The front desk was empty every time I visited the lobby. She was out in the parking. Snooki g cigarettes.

We are traveling a lot and staying so many hotels. The receptionist of this hotel is a a rudest and worst service I’ve ever met.
