Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carson City by IHG

Also, I was there two nights, we made sure to take the sign off my room, and we definitely didn’t get house keeping. Which was kind of disappointing, a minimum of at least emptying garbage cans and refill the toilet paper would have been nice. It’s hard to miss there’s a new big hotel right next door with similar prices and what seems like bigger rooms. I might have to try it next time.

They never tell us the swimming pool and hot tub was out of service till after we pay😡😡

I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one was pretty much perfect!!!

Exceptional

Room was clean-ish, a little dated or wear and tear. Bed was nice and enjoyed the exercise equipment. Breakfast was decent.

Absolutely nothing, did not stay at property due to unsafe conditions of the premises of the room. Terrible staff members working at front desk, very rude and unprofessional. Had no consideration of the conditions of the room that was booked for. It had a disgusting cigarette odor in the room, torn furniture, along with moldy cracked wall above the air conditioning unit. According to the front desk staff they were unable to give any contact information of the manager to discuss the issue at all. Would definitely not recommend anyone ever booking at this specific location.

Unfortunately the visit was not as expected. The facility itself was dirty and unkempt. The room itself was even worse. Visibly dirty and unattended to.

The bathroom shower wouldn’t work, the water would go down so other guest in the couldn’t use the shower

The location Compared to other IHG places I’ve stayed…this was a huge disappointment .. the bathroom was not in good shape.. the shower/tub combo was sketchy… it moved when showering and you could see water seepage being soaked up the wall.. room 328 was an ada room… the curtains were old and gross.. the rod fell off the wall when trying to open the curtains … at check in the girl there keep yelling at the kids running around while checking me in…very unprofessional in my opinion… there would have been a better way to handle that especially when you have a customer standing in front of you. I really wished that I would have taken pictures, but unfortunately, I did not.

Location Every thing was right

When we arrived, the lobby was not air conditioned so waiting to check in was hot (it was approximately 95 degrees outside). When we got to the room, the sofabed that my daughter was supposed to sleep on was covered in hair (hopefully dog hair and not human hair). When we asked to switch rooms or if it could be cleaned, we were told that the cleaning staff had gone home and the hotel was full. They gave us a portable bed that was not fit to sleep on. When we returned from sightseeing the following day and asked if the room had been cleaned, we were told no. When we checked out and asked to be compensated, we were told there was nothing they could do because we booked through a third party. We will definitely think twice before staying at a Holiday Inn again.

it’s my first time in holiday Inn it was the worst stay of my life i booked it specially for my husband birthday . There was really bad smell moreover the washroom door lock was not working I will never suggest anyone this hotel

Nothing Lack of ac/ lighting/ front staff

Great location, breakfast was good and hot. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for affordable non casino related hotels.
