Convenient to the convention center and restaurants. The exterior needs a good power washing, dull stained concrete. Room had a view of the rooftop, kind of depressing. Arrived a couple of hours before check in and had to wait until check in. It has been awhile since I have experienced that. Carpet in the hallway was loose and needs to be stretched or replaced. Parking $15 a day was reasonable.

    It was ok

The hotel is very beat up in desperate need of remodelling and cleanup. Bathroom was still dirty. No one ever cleaned my room overnight and it looked very old.

Perfect place to stay for anything at the convention center

Overall, this was an okay stay, but there were enough issues that I wouldn't be eager to return. The room itself was decent, and the bed was reasonably comfortable, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, the shower didn't drain properly, and the water pressure was so high that it made showering less enjoyable than it should have been. The biggest disappointment was the advertised "continental breakfast." We weren't informed that it was an additional charge until after we'd already eaten, when an inattentive host simply handed us a bill. That could have been communicated much more clearly upfront. Parking was another frustration. We paid for parking, were warned that locals might target our U-Haul for theft, and then were directed to park it in an open lot with little visible security. I appreciate that the front desk employee was trying to look out for us, but the situation wasn't very reassuring. It wasn't a terrible stay, but between the breakfast confusion, parking concerns, and maintenance issues, it fell short of expectations.

    Lol

Overall pretty clean, the building does show its age and the glass on the balcony door looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last summer.

Nice staff and environment. But hotel was a little old considering it was a Marriot. It needs to be updated. The carpet in the floor hall was really loose and had rolls in it. The walls in the room were worn and looked dirty. And the tub/shower was stained.

The room was clean, but smelled musty. There is a property across the street with a torn down building and that was our view. Not great. Parking was free and convenient. We are Marriott members and my wife accidently left an important electrical cord behind and the hotel never did tell us about it.

Great place to stay everything is there good bar, good food. Only thing was I was not expecting to get a bill for breakfast. Thought it was free.

The hotel was clean and comfortable however it is very old and some repairs are needed. My biggest concern was the musty, mildewy odor coming from the hvac system in our room.

The neutral: Breakfast was good, but not $17/pp good. The bad: Hotels.com had an option to pay extra for a reduced rate on parking and wi-fi. Parking was listed as $15/night and wifi as $9.99. Hotels.com charged $9 for both options to be included. When we got there, we discovered parking was free to make up for one of the non-functioning elevators. Wifi was also free. Unfortunately, I paid the "reduced" fee when booking and had to spend 45 minutes trying to get a refund through hotels.com One elevator was not functioning. The pool is closed and it didn't appear to be opening again any time soon. The front counter staff had an issue with an internet outage when we arrived for check-in and appeared to be working frantically to get everything running as it should, but did not acknowledge any of the customers waiting to check-in. I only learned about the problem by approaching a staff member after a few minutes of standing around. Problems happen, we get it, BUT you need to communicate what is happening with the customers. As stated by others, it's outdated with bumpy hallway carpeting. We had a mystery splatter mark on the 80s wallpaper in our room that we played a game of "What could it be?" with, while avoiding getting too close to it. Explosive Pepsi, puke, indoor water balloon battle... We'll never know.

Everything was pretty good, breakfast was solid and decently fresh

I really appreciate the shuttle driver Cookie who just absolutely made my day. Jeff at the front desk helped with a couple things in the room! Even the breakfast buffet was great!

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The pool is indefinitely closed, but not disclosed to booking customers. Room was clean, but had high humidity. Breakfast was very good and parking was covered and close.

The hotel was sooooo out dated and not as clean as the pictures. Marriott definitely needs to give this hotel a lot of attention.
