Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Charleston South, WV

We found out today that 5 months ago there were 7 people on cleaning staff. Now there are only 2. They are trying their best to keep up, but that’s a difficult job for a three story hotel. The location was convenient but the stay wasn’t worth the lower price.

Check in and out was easy. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful.

It was a decent valve. Staff was nice.

We just needed a bed and a shower for the night but we got so much more!! The lady at the front desk was beyond nice! Her hospitality was better than I’ve ever had at a hotel. Especially at one at this cost. The breakfast was also very good. It didn’t seem like the usual chain hotel breakfast. We got the most quiet room I’ve ever had in a hotel. I didn’t hear any slamming doors, kids or dogs. We were able to get a full 8 hours of sleep. Even the blackout curtains were amazing! Highly recommend.

Good breakfast, with amazing staff!! They were so nice and accommodating to our family of 3 and 2 pups!

The breakfast was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. First room we went to, looked as if the bed was made over dirty sheets. Crumbs and hair on the sheets.

The staff was very welcoming, and the cookies and fresh coffee were great. I loved that the pool was open until midnight.

Pool room was very hot. Beds were not comfortable.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked, the bathtub freaked me out. The staff was so friendly!

No parking and the lot is full of pot holes

Great hotel with perfect accommodations. Visiting from Miami, Fl and being used to warm/hot weather, the indoor pool was a big plus for the kids. I don't think we could enjoy an outside pool in June in West Virginia. Additionally, the hotel was clean and the full breakfast being available in the morning made it even better. Checkout at 12pm is standard which also made for a pleasant trip! I'd recommend for families for sure!

Friendly staff; was able to get us another room because the first was full of smoking residue even though it was a non-smoking room. Breakfast was good - lots to choose from. The toilet was malfunctioning and "screamed" each time you used it; there were wires hanging out of the air conditioner - they were capped but lying in wait - not safe for children in the room; the room was titled handicapped but my husband had to help me into the shower because I couldn't climb over the tub (I had two knee replacements); the remote wasn't working for the TV - staff gave us two others but they weren't working either. We had to manually change channels; the TV channels were incorrect that were left in the room. The hotel was close to the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise all night long.

Nothing, it was horrible we didn't stay there! It was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen and wouldn't take my dog there. We are supposed to get a full refund

Great location and Staff

The gentleman at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Room was clean and decent We booked the room 2 weeks in advance and requested a crib. Said it was no problem. It was supposed to be in the room. We traveled for the baby to have a procedure. When we got to the room there was no crib. We asked the gentleman at the front desk and was told they didn’t have any. Had we known we would’ve brought his play pen. We had to go buy a playpen for him to have somewhere to sleep.
