Cons - room smelled like smoke and our key cards kept deactivating even the digital key. Not able to sit on the upper deck it stayed locked which was disappointing.

My daughter and I traveled to Charlotte for a concert and had a lovely time at the Doubletree by Hilton. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. They were able to check us in early. Our room was clean and fully stocked with linens, towels, water bottles, and everything that we would need. We felt extremely safe as in order to get on the elevator you had to have a key card. After the concert, the walk back was just steps from the Carolina Theatre. We were able to order some cake from the restaurant and have dessert in our room. Couldn’t ask for a better stay!

Stayed with family. Bed was comfortable and linens were crisp and clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was absolutely the highlight! There was a lady at the front desk who was absolutely the best and I’m so upset I didn’t get her name.

The room was very nice, super staff, and the bar had a great selection (even for us beer snobs)! We didn’t enjoy the restaurant.

Most of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food / drinks, for a hotel especially, are reasonably priced. The hotel is in a great location for walking to events uptown, but this also means lots of noise. On Saturday night and into Sunday morning, there was intensely loud drag racing that I could hear clearly, even on the 11th floor. The room was decent, but there was a lot of dust and long cobwebs above the sink, and that area looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months, or even years. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. I would stay there again, but it won't be my first choice in Charlotte. It won't be my last choice, but it will not be the first.

The staff at this hotel always goes above and beyond to meet any needs or requests of their guests!!! Even to the point of opening and storing umbrellas when it is pouring rain! 👍
-
loud and noisy. The full length mirror was not clean. The fixtures ( towel rack, toilet paper holder, etc.) were dusty. I notified mgr at check out. I was reimbursed for two days parking fee.

will definitely rebook in the future.

The only issue was housekeeping came into my room unannounced

Great location. Friendly staff (particularly the morning security guard who is a joy!) Could be cleaner. A little soulless.

It was quiet. We did get a room close to our traveling companion. There was a nice restaurant for breakfast. It was located well for our event. The gentleman at the desk who checked us in kept telling us that we had a "roll-in shower." We asked for a "walk-in shower." We are older but not in a wheelchair. When we got to the room. There was a tub - no walk-in or roll-in shower. And the tub was stained. We stayed because we didn't have time to change our plans. We probably will not go back there when we visit Charlotte again.

Restaurant in the hotel was very nice and the staff was great.

Wonderful staff, always helpful. Restaurant was very good for our dinner time. Nice breakfast options.

I arrived very late on a Saturday and was very pleased with my quick check in and the room itself. However, when leaving the next morning, I learned the valet service did not have a phone so I had to come down to request my car. That wasn't great. When they brought my car, the guy didn't even offer to help me with my luggage. Really?? The tip I had in my hand went back in my purse. Sad.

Loved how close the property was to the Spectrum center and so many other things. The room door was broken, we stayed during a concert so the property was full of people which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep knowing our door was not working properly. Other than that I would stay again.

We arrived in town for our visit early and called and staff arranged for us to be able to check in early for our visit. Staff was attentive to our needs and helpful making things easier for our Mom who has trouble walking.
