Everything was great. Staff was nice, room was clean, whenever we needed something they gave it to us right away.

Place was dirty, our sheets were visibly dirty and the staff was awful. Called for fresh towels in the morning went downstairs twice to ask called once and never received it. Don’t recommend.

Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree in downtown Charlotte near Spectrum Center was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the rooms were very clean, and I felt safe and comfortable while inside the hotel. However, there were several service issues that were disappointing. We had four people staying in the room, but there were not enough towels provided. I contacted the staff and specifically requested four sets of towels, but only two towels were brought to the room. I was also disappointed with the valet service. At several t during my stay, I requested my vehicle, but the valet staff told me they were too busy and that I would need to retrieve my car myself. I have never stayed at a hotel where I paid for valet parking and was then asked to get my own vehicle. I requested that the valet charge be removed from my bill, and I appreciate that the hotel honored that request. Another concern was the atmosphere around the hotel and parking area on Saturday night. There were large groups of young people gathered in and around the parking lot and outside the hotel. The security presence appeared to be almost nonexistent, which made me feel somewhat uncomfortable and less safe when entering and leaving the property. While I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and felt secure once inside the hotel, the lack of adequate towels, the valet experience, and the limited visible security outside the property affected my over

My room was canceled without any notification. I was not called or emailed. They sold my room to someone else. I drove almost 3 hours away and had no where to stay. I’m very upset and I want to speak to upper management regarding the terrible situation I experienced. We were there to celebrate a birthday and that did not happen.

Location great. That’s the only positive thing I have to say. Hotel charges $32 for parking, but parking garage states $28. Bathroom area small. Door recently painted and was difficult getting in and out of room. Customer service depends on the time of service needed. Gym area has no A/C. Rooftop area is locked so you can’t enjoy the scenery. Drinks at the bar were good however only one lady working there so you will be waiting. Only one lady working at the coffee shop, line was extremely long however she was completely apologetic.

This hotel was so convenient. We went to a show at the spectrum and Will right across the street from the spectrum. The only thing that I didn’t like was being at the hotel was a little bit more expensive. The breakfast was not free. We had to pay extra for the breakfast, other than that it was perfect
