Charming boutique hotel in uptown Charlotte. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms with lots of natural light for a home away from home feel. Would definitely stay again.

This is our second time staying at the Dunhill. Rooms were great very with comfortable beds. The hotel is a step back in time . With modern amenities,This hotel is located five minutes from the spectrum center and 10 minutes from the Bank of America Stadium. A great location with lots of great restaurants and bars.

Food was too salty, had to ask for something else.

Clean, old hotel in the heart of “uptown” Charlotte. Friendly staff, but we never had to ask them for anything other than a cup of ice from the bar- because there is no ice maker or ice buckets in the hotel. Bathroom sink had significant cracks in the bowl and small maintenance items were left unfixed. The hotel itself was quiet. Never heard other guests. But the location is terrible. Several bars are nearby and the noise from music, people, and revving motorcycles and loud cars did not stop until well into the morning hours. We have rev-bombers at home, but when they do it surrounded by very tall buildings it echoes and sounds much louder. Old hotel windows did little to block the noise, even on an upper floor where our room was. TV just had cable lineup with no option for Netflix or other streaming services. Parking was convenient in garage attached. Lots of police cars were evident near the bars both nights we stayed, and we did not feel comfortable walking around after dark. Lots of restaurants nearby, but not shopping or other attractions without driving or taking the train (we didn’t use the train but saw it regularly- like a tram with tracks sharing the roadways- not a dedicated train track). We did not dine at the hotel restaurant for any meals. Really enjoyed the Korean restaurant MOA which was a short walk from the hotel. Any future visit we would stay somewhere away from this area.

Very plush

Location would be a reason I'd visit the property again. It does have a old school charm about it so don't expect the most modern decor. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Just the location For the price of the room for one night there with nothing extra....no complimentary breakfast, no microwave in the room, staff was not accessible when we came in around midnight for a soda, still had to pay for parking and again nothing spectacular or amazing about the room. Ive actually seen better for less. The ac still doesn't work in the reception area .

Very clean. Staff was helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again

Loved everything except the lighting in the room. There was only one lamp in one side of the room. Food was excellent!
-
The housekeeper was very nice for the 5th floor on Sat -Sun.
-
Phone did not work in my room (#207), no refrigerator, and no microwave in the room. Also, the bar and restaurant close too early.

Location to everything was great! The staff was VERY friendly! Everyone I encountered was pleasant and helpful! 10/10 on the staff! No fridge or ice one the floor. My bed creeked really bad with every move. I understand its one of the oldest hotels and I appreciate it's charm. But maybe new bed frames are needed.
