Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlotte Uptown

The hotel was in a good location and had ample parking. We were staying one night and found a lot of mold in our shower. When we notified front desk next morning, they simply stated they would take care of it, and didn’t seem too concerned or apologetic. We wouldn’t stay here again.

A hotel should provide a clean and safe environment for its guests, and finding bedbugs is completely unacceptable. I had to worry about bringing them home with me, inspect all of my belongings, and deal with the physical discomfort of the bites. I reported the issue to the hotel, but the experience had already ruined my stay. I would strongly recommend that the hotel take immediate action to address this problem and thoroughly inspect and treat affected rooms. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here. Be sure to carefully inspect your room if you choose to stay at this property.

The staff were the best part about our stay. It’s concurrently located close to everything. The beautiful woman working nights was truly a gem. So sweet and welcoming

We were in Charlotte for a concert at The Spectrum, perfect location to walk to the venue. At check in we had a small issue with the room having a strong, strange smell and the front desk changed our room immediately. Highly recommended checking out the free breakfast buffet, very good selection. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly.

Breakfast was mediocre, nothing special and nothing ever changed.

We liked the continental breakfast. The bar food was not that good. Definitely recommend the JINYA Ramen Bar for dinner farther downtown - it was excellent.

Even after a major concert, I was able to check in earlier than expected. Pool area was nice & parts was well shaded. Room was spacious, & breakfast was delicious. I love when hotels have turkey sausage on the menu. Close to Bank of America stadium & Soectrum center
