Enjoyed the stay

Such a great location, huge suites. The bar/restaurant is fantastic The breakfasts are only so-so.

Our room was clean enough. I have some friends in another room with a dirty bathroom. The staff never brought the extra towels we requested. Breakfast was always a mess, and it took a long time for coffee or other stations to be refilled. For the price, I will never stay again

The rooms are amazing, the staff was awesome, I would have liked to see better breakfast options on the free buffet side. But there are kitchens in most rooms so you can have your own cooked breakfast in your room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again

We visited the hotel to explore Charlotte and visit the theme park Carowinds. The hotel boasts large rooms which are true, spacious that they are with the basics. A clean pool (without lifeguard to note but expected) and well surrounded by options for food, shops and not far from large attractions. Fitness centre in good shape though I didn’t use. Laundry room is useful but needs a good clean. Some staff were hospitable and all were friendly, just some didn’t show much urgency when issues came into fruition. A particular staff member Melissa was delightful and wavered off the room costs per night after discovering our issues which hadn’t been reported to her of which as the front office manager I found surprising. If the above are within your needs it’s a good, affordable place to stay but I wouldn’t go out of pocket to visit here personally unless you had a good deal. The rooms aren’t operated well with our first room’s toilet overflowing just before we went to bed and flooding our entire bathroom, to which nthe front desk assistant said it happens, we then were first asked if we had a plunger in our room and anyone in health & safety would suggest to vacate the room and away unless wearing personal protective equipment to resolve. They then knocked and left a plunger by our door to which I caught them and said I think it’s best you move our booking to a different room for health & safety purposes. Once moved the room was practically a clone of before except there was an off putting smell to it, we dealt with it as we just wanted to go to sleep. The fan above the bed was covered in dust and I reported this to the front desk with no resolvement. Breakfast-wise, on our first visit to breakfast I bit to a muffin and it hadn’t defrosted properly yet. Sadly there was no one around to report this to. Other than that breakfast is extremely minimal with turnaround/refill operations minimal but it does what it needs to do just keep your expectations low. The place could be incredible as it has it all to be, it just needs better upkeep and operations.

We enjoyed our stay at Homewood suites at South Park Charlotte. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the pool area was nice. The pull out sofa was not very comfortable so I suggest get a room with two queen beds instead if you have more than two people traveling. Also the pillows could use some upgrading as they were very flat. As far as the room it was clean and quiet which I appreciate. But the hotel is close to everything and within walking distance to restaurants and mall area.

Breakfast of scrambled eggs was good, even fresh from the warmer were on the cool side. I understand that too much heat will over cook the eggs, but just a little steam rising would help. If your a guest why have to pay to park at the place that your staying, whether it's in the open lot or parking structure. Plus only one waste receptacle per room, small at that! Coffee very strong. Luckily here was a Starbucks immediately across the intersection, walking distance. Pool out of service indefinitely,

The hotel was wonderful. It's in a great, walkable location and was well maintained. My room was a good size with a full kitchen which made preparing food in the room a breeze. Breakfast had a lot of options- pretty standard hotel fare. The front desk staff was helpful, and the room staff were quick to bring any supplies I needed. The outdoor pool area was wonderful, and I spent quite a bit of time relaxing there. As usual, the only items that detracted from my stay were other patrons. Some people felt that everyone wanted to hear their music by the pool and that full blast was the only way to play it. Other than that, it was a wonderful 6 days.

This was a beautiful property. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, it was a wonderful experience. The front office staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast tasted great and the selections were more than one can expect. I was thankful that they had a microwave to warm up the eggs and meat provided. Breakfast burritos...wow! For one that does not eat pork, they had a great selection of breakfast sausage i.e. chicken or turkey to choose from. Most hotels do not provide this and I appreciated this. The room and bathroom were clean and everything worked perfectly. The bed was just right. If you are ever in Charlotte, I would highly recommend that you stay at this hotel.

Perfect place to stay very clean and the front desk so polite and helpful. I watched them with other people and it was a pleasure to see the care they had for each person. The rooms were very clean breakfast was great and the bar was very nice including the beautiful sweet young ladies.

Room was broken into after leaving for a concert. Staff couldn’t have cared less. We were promised half off and never got it. Terrible stay
