Staybridge Suites Charlotte – Tyvola by IHG

When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that my reservation was not available. I explained to the front desk employee that I had just called and had been told my room was ready, and I also pointed out that I never received a phone call or email at any point before my arrival indicating there was a problem with my reservation. I went back to my car. About 15 minutes later, the front desk employee came out and told me they only had a room available for one night, even though I had originally booked and confirmed a two-night stay. This was incredibly disappointing and stressful, especially after driving all the way to Charlotte for a concert. At the last minute, I had to find another hotel, which was both inconvenient and unnecessary. I expected much better communication and service, especially since my reservation had been booked months in advance.

We enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we needed.

Room was great! Very clean, quiet property with nice helpful staff.

They canceled my appt saying the money wasn’t available and it DEFINITELY WAS!!!! No notification. No email. But had my itinerary annd reservation number!! All other rooms booked and my family had to drive back at 3am. Not to mention I’m still getting emails from yall asking about my stay. Asking me about my check in! There wasn’t one! Neither!! I’m soooo disappointed because I always use Expedia for my booking. For sure will reconsider after this!!

Everything felt fresh and well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection and was a perfect way to start the day. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with the added convenience of a kitchenette, this is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Charlotte!

Every time I stay at this hotel, the staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel room is always clean. The breakfast is on point. I am always very appreciated.

Good for content creators as well. However i would love to have more mirrors just for that reason lol. More body mirrors in the room. There is one in the bedroom. In the livingroom its a neck up (depending on how tall you are) near the entry door. Need more in the hallways as well. However very good place to stay.

We had the perfect two night stay! Breakfast food was great and the staff was delightful! The room was perfect for what we needed! We were able to accomplish what we came for (sewing for two days to get projects done and some much needed relaxing time). Will definitely go there again!

Beds were comfortable. A pleasant surprise given the price. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast is fantastic for a free hotel breakfast. The staff were helpful. Quiet hotel. Well insulated so you can’t hear other rooms. Will stay again if in the area. Only a 10-15 min drive to Carowinds which was the main reason for our stay.

The breakfast could have been better. It the only reason I did not gave the hotel a 5. Everything’s else was excellent.

Our room was spacious, clean, and well stocked in the kitchen. The king size bed was amazing. Softest bed I've ever slept in.

The location was good The AC was not working in the building and it was hot in our room.

I have stayed here before, but this time it seemed there was less upkeep of the interior. Garbage cans overflowing, water machine in fitness center inoperable. It is a fine hotel but could be better.

This property was beautiful and perfect for me and my partner’s weekend stay in Charlotte. It wasn’t too far away from any of the places that we wanted/needed to go. It was our first time lodging here and he actually called it “the hotel jackpot.” Honestly, the only thing that I was dissatisfied with is that they serve a buffet breakfast, which is delicious by the way, but they have absolutely no hand sanitizer throughout the lobby/dining areas. All (4) of the dispensers were empty and when I asked for one of them to be refilled, I was told that they've been empty so long that they’re not sure how to refill them. Otherwise, the please appeared quite clean.

There was a little hiccup but the front manager he was great!! He fixed the issue & was very pleasant. Major kudos to him!! Na
