Wonderful location, walking distance to downtown. Large, clean room.

This was one of my favorite hotels of all time. The room was huge and so well designed and put together. The hotel was very nice with a pool, hot tub, restaurant, deck facing the river and free breakfast. We really liked this hotel.

Hotel was very clean and nice looking. We enjoyed the attached restaurant and patio area. It was nice to be on the riverwalk to be able to walk to more restaurants, stores, and the food truck event on Saturdays. Everyone was very nice, especially the lady that checked us in. We were very happy with our stay.

Phillip was very nice and helpful

The location was fine. You have to pay $21 to park in the lot, so when the listing tells you parking is included, that’s not accurate. Also, if you are booking a “river view” room, make sure you are above the second floor or your view will be of the air conditioning units like mine was. It was a nice comfortable room, which was nice. The view and the parking are not great though.

Excellent location! Great restaurant.
-
Nice location and clean facilities. You had to pay to park and it was around $21 after taxes and fees for one night. Ridiculous!
-
We enjoyed the view of the river and liked the convenience of Scotty's on the River.

The staff was extremely helpful!!!

Great location! This hotel was close to all the downtown attractions and set right on the river.

The room, lobby, hallways, pool area, breakfast area, and exercise room were clean and well maintained. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard. Nothing amazing but hot and hit the spot. The bad: Parking is $18 a night PLUS 9.25% sales tax. That's a total of $19.67 a day. Although that's pretty expensive, parking in downtown Chattanooga is pretty limited. So, I somewhat understand. However, parking is shared with the onsite restaurant and there's no parking partitioned off for hotel guests, unless you pay an extra $10 for valet. This makes it very difficult to park when returning from attractions not in walking distance. I was charged $100 for incidentals upon check in which is absolutely understandable. However, our incidentals, which was 5 days of parking, came to $98.35. We didn't get our $1.65 back. Rather, the hotel tried to charge us an additional $51.67 after we checked out. We left the room in very good condition. All of our trash (from take out) had been gathered in bags and placed by the door to make it easier for housekeeping. There were no spills and no damage. We were 2 adults and a 17 year old on a family vacation. So, there was no partying or hijinks. We didn't take anything from the room. We didn't order any movies or charge anything to the room. We had seriously considered coming back to this hotel for our next Chattanooga trip. However, the extra charge attempt was very disconcerting. We won't be back.

Is the worse buffet we ever had and we travel a lot is absolutely ridiculous how much we pay for that poor breakfast area

Staff were very helpful and friendly

The rooms were amazing. Separated living room from the bedroom. Bed was super comfortable. Sheets very clean. Breakfast was great. Hot choices as well as grab and go. Coffee was delicious. We loved Scottie's which connects to the hotel and you never have to leave for a good meal. Staff was great. Very friendly. We will stay here again soon.

Location The docks located clear to SPRINGHILL are not available like the used to be.
-
Absolutely beautiful view. I loved being along the River. Clean lobby. Clean room. Great elevators. Exactly what we needed on our stop in. Next to no parking with the restaurant on site. Was told the restaurant doesn’t offer carry out. After driving for 12 hours I didn’t want to have a sit down dinner with my children, we wanted to bed tot & enjoy dinner in bed. The pool is the size of an oversized bathtub. Didn’t get to go because there were so many people in it.
-
Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub could have been bigger.
-
Only problem we encountered was that they ran out of towels during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at SpringHill Suites. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Tennessee River. Beautiful! We definitely recommend staying here if you visit Chattanooga.
