Quality Inn Cherokee Riverside

We arrived in the evening to a very unhelpful front desk person who started off expressing that she didn't appreciate that we booked through Expedia. Our first room we were assigned had an awful odor that smelled like someone had puked in it. We asked to please move rooms. She made a big deal about how she could probably give us a different room, but that it wouldn't be any better & it had to be the same room type. Then assigned us the same room. When said that was iur same room she told me the same disclaimer, the she whispered our new room number like it was a secret that she was swapping us rooms. It was just awkward. The 2nd room assigned smelled slightly better but was musty & didn't smell clean. The "balcony" was in a stairwell & was covered in stink bugs that poured in when you opened the door. We had paid for all three nights ahead of time & the front desk lady said we couldn't cancel or get a refund if we left early. Contacted Expedia who said we should hear back in 24 hrs but never got a reply. We stayed 1 night & booked a new hotel for the other 2 nights and had a wonderful experience at the other hotel. We apparently had to just eat the cost of those 2 nights. The breakfast was good & the area clean the next morning. The breakfast employee was lovely and helpful. The only good part of the time spent there.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV had a not so good picture and no option for streaming. Staff was very helpful with information about the area. Would stay again if in the area.

Everyone was friendly. Rooms was very clean. Breakfast was okay. Coffee was amazing and it was close to everything

One of the nicest Quality Inns that I have ever stayed at. Great location with a beautiful creek behind the hotel! We saw ducks, geese, and even a couple of elk. Loved the view and the pool! It was a great stay! My kids always enjoy staying at the hotel during Summer visits to Cherokee. They love the creek and pool, and enjoy the breakfast selection!

I booked for the wrong day and they did not have a room so I did not stay here

The river was beautiful & the ducks ? & the pillows were amazing ( where can I buy 2 of those pillows?) the breakfast was awesome & the lady working in cafeteria was really nice … met new friends The beds were too soft … hurt my back … bathtub looked dirty & the pool is small

It was close enough to downtown. The staff were nice. There was a smell, moldy.

We love this location By my mistake I booked the wrong room but the staff helped me know what to book for next time. We love the room with river views

Beautiful river views with wildlife all around Nice pool area and breakfast was amazing! I can't think of anything I didn't like. The staff were great with any questions or concerns and made our stay so relaxing and comfortable.

Always clean and staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is good. No complaints

The location was great Older building. Furnishings seemed dated. I was okay with not having daily cleaning for everything except trash. There is only one trash can (small) in the room and another in the bathroom so trash filled quickly and was not emptied daily

Not much other than tv channels which were pretty much non existent
