Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites

Room was clean, however everyday we had to have our room key reset. Drink machine was empty, coffee in breakfast room was warm not hot. The swimming pool and hot tub needs some updates.

Breakfast- they offered everything from grits, oatmeal, cereal, toast, assorted muffins, bagels, fruit cups, juice and coffee! Delicious! Facility and room was clean and nicely maintained. The pool & hot tub could use a bit more scrubbing but it was very refreshing! I love this place! The staff were very nice and courteous. I can't wait to return there! Drink machine was out of Sprite!

The staff are amazing. I have traveled 2500 miles on a recent road trip by myself and stayed in a lot of different places ranging from the Hampton Inns to Little Switzerland Inn with a mix of budget stops in between. In my opinion, when the room is clean the staff make the experience by just being human and nice. The cleaning manager was super nice to me even though she has a tough job with time constraints. She wasn't rushing me and was super nice. The person who greeted me and helped navigate my silly questions was beyond nice, she was exceptional. I've spent 6 times more at other hotels and never got the human decency I got from the evening front desk person. I will come back and recommend this spot because of the people, not

The room was in a great location and we could get where we wanted to go very quickly. The “breakfast” was absolutely absurd. Out of date food, curdled milk, stale bagels. It was a joke. The room smelled like urine. There was nonstop running and jumping late at night in the floor above us, the hot tub.. I wouldn’t stick my big toe in there, but we did enjoy the indoor pool. The photos online are VERY misleading.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the indoor pool and hot tub was a welcoming bonus to our trip due to the rain. Or room was clean and ready before scheduled arrival and we were granted access early without an extra charge!! Not the hotels fault but whoever was staying in the room above ours were extremely rude and loud. We were not able to actually fall asleep until 4am

Location was the only thing that was good. Misleading pictures on booking.com. Staff that smoked pot around the pool area (we had children). Lingering pot aroma in the hotel halls. All rooms were musty and damp. Clothes felt wet in the morning. Whirlpool discolored (algae). Had to wait for breakfast (coffee) to be set up in the mornings. Wallpaper coming off walls. Windows had no screens. we were warned of stink bugs and lady bugs in the hotel. Room cards continually had to be reprogramed.

The water pressure in the shower was great! They let me have a refund for the 3rd night. When I checked in the desk clerk seemed confused???? I needed 2 room keys she said she was sorry the machine wasn't working. I asked for directions she didn't know where the main part of town was. Someone else came behind the desk I ask when we could get another key the lady said what room I'll make you one and did so immediately. The pictures online DO NOT DEPICT the true property and rooms. Possibly when the hotel was brand new, but not now. The parking lot at night is very, very dark. This is in the mountains folks with bears not mentioning bad humans nowadays. You need lighting! The pool area is outdoors thru a walkway that is overgrown with large bushes. Anything or anyone could be hiding in. Again no lighting along this walkway. No security cameras. The pool is in a greenhouse in closure not well maintained at all. No security cameras that were noticeable. The pool area is behind the property with no security.

Location. Two good size mirrors in the room. Price. Staff. Wish that lights in room would have been brighter. Found a few hairs in both beds. Slightly bigger TV screen would have been good.

Facility was very clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and location was easy to get to. Breakfast was a little scarce, something’s were used up and not replaced in a timey manner.

We love our home away from. It’s peaceful and quiet. Only hotel w a hot tub! She is not the Hyatt, but she’s all we want need. Beds are firm and you can choose a pillow you like. Staff is away ready to help w anything you need. We are here 4-6 times a yr! You’re only a couple minutes from everything. It’s time to resurface the hot tub guys. ♥️♥️♥️

Price and location. Could use more amenities, but it was expected for the price

Good location. Staff great. Beds need new mattresses. Hot tub was under going repairs but guests were still allowed to get in. Tile inside of tub was chipped out which to me was a cut or injured foot waiting to happen. The wrapping around a pipe was dented and an eye sore.
