Claridge House Chicago, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Room was basic and loud.

Very good

Love the location!

While the lobby is wonderful, our room was not. It smelled, had torn and stained carpet, barely working blinds…. Certainly didn’t expect such poor conditions based on the nightly cost.

Staff friendly. We had a king deluxe room. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was a little small, although it was fine for my husband and me. We would def stay here again.

Pleasant

Pretty street close to the lake Soulless. Everything is automated. Wont stay at a Hilton tapestry again.

Great

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room clean and very comfortable. Will absolutely stay here again.

The bathroom faucet could have been better installed. Super accommodating staff!

Great location and neighborhood. Carpet torn and dirty, as other reviewers noted, few amenities.

Pros: good location in a safe neighborhood, great omakase sushi restaurant in the hotel Cons: tiny bathroom, some of the desk staff seemed less than interested in being there. The guy that checked us in was great. The guy that checked us out was not.

room was very small. no closets or dressers with drawers. coffee machine was in a small closet but nowhere to plug it in. wanted to get breakfast and the oven was broken. took the elevator down but when it got to the lobby it went right back up. not the best.

Pleasant

The location was perfect for my visit

Everything is always great when I stay here! Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Elevator was pretty slow. One time when I was in with another worker it did briefly stop and actually surprised us both but it continued within the minute luckily! You also have to press harder on the buttons.

did not like paying 65 dollars a day for the parking structure next door. did not like seeing dogs peeing in the elevator.. DID NOT LIKE BEING CHARGED FROM THE BAR THAT I DID NOT PURCHASE. ALSO I WAS CHARGED FOR SOMETHING ON MY BILL I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT

Exceptional

I've stayed at this hotel on 4 different occasions. The past stays the accommodations were great. This last time I was a little disappointed. The carpet in the room was in need of a good cleaning. The remote for the TV wasn't in the room. The TV was on a screen saver all night. A bit distracting. The air conditioning was somewhat loud. All in all I was restless and didn't get a good night's sleep.

The location was excellent. Hotel lobby and outdoor seating amazing. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet. The decor is in need of an update.
