They had extra charges, when checking in to my room. Also, the couch had stains in my room and only one of us could take a shower. The shower was plugged and filled up with water. Would not drain.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Would stay again.

the parking is expensive beings the cost to stay for one night was very costly, do not think this will be booked in future or recommended to others.

It was very nice, staff were amazing and helpful. The room was very clean and they also had easy access to parking.

Gorgeous location, very beautiful interiors with rich history.

The bathroom was out of date and it was difficult for taking a shower....the tub filled up with water and I was standing in it while I rinsing off The room was nice but the furniture in the room was old and worn. I saw a cockroach in my room while I was there.

It’s a lovely place to stay I love it

Tried to use the very small hair dryer only to find out it quite in a puff of black smoke and smelled up the whole room.

We going to the beach, so this was super convenient the rooms were spacious for the price. Nice big bathroom. The staff was excellent. The bar was great and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend.

I purchased additional items to enhance my stay, but some of these amenities are nonexistent, such as room service. The room provides minimal space for clothing storage, with only one closet containing four or five hangers. There is no coffee machine or microwave available. The bed lacks a frame, making it feel as though one is sleeping on the floor. One long table for nothing. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was excessively loud, indicating a need for mechanical maintenance. No terrace access the door door was closed the whole stay and we didn't get the extra add-on for the coffee table that we were supposed to get for what we paid for. Bathroom so small with one set of towels bottles almost empty (body wash, shampoo)It was the worst experience ever.

Friendly welcoming staff Nice upkeep of legendary Chicago hotel. Rooms decent side. Excellent water pressure in shower. Only suggestion would be to replace dated carpet in hotel room with laminate flooring. The carpet is tired looking

The property did not look anything like the pictures we saw online. The rooms reminded us of dorm rooms versus an upscale hotel. That was a total shock to us. Additionally, we kept getting charged for fees prior to our checkout. For instance, we were charged twice for parking. Overall, we were disappointed.

Nice place, vibrant energy in the lobby and common spaces, quiet rooms. Easy walk to Red Line. Parking is bad in this neighborhood, but you don’t really need a car in Chicago. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was completely unhelpful, and there was no manager on site in the evening to address our concerns. It was unsettling staying at a property where there was no management available if something went wrong. These business practices felt misleading and deceptive. The room itself was clean but very basic, with a platform bed, a desk/credenza combination, and plain white walls. Don’t assume you’ll get the rooms shown in the promotional photos—features like fireplaces were not included. The final cost of our stay ended up being double what we expected after mandatory fees were added at check-in. Parking was also extremely expensive. Customer service from the booking company was equally disappointing. After spending over an hour in a chat session, they refused to take responsibility or provide any meaningful assistance. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
