The Drake

The bathroom was not cleaned well. There was an old co tact stuck to the floor. Also, the bathtub did not drain well.

The hotel was in a great area, but the hotel room smelled like cigarettes and they hadn’t moved any furniture to clean underneath in years.

AC was noisy. Light was going on anf off in bathroom. Otherwise ok.

The Location of the Drake really made it second to none. It is an historic hotel that we found to be a bit posh

Very colse to great resturants and museums. Very helpful staff, especially Mark outside directing cab service. He found me a cab during a tornado warning!!!

Anastasia did an awesome job checking us in. She was exceptional at her job!

Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Asked the front desk person twice if we could move to a different room and were told no. Spent over $1500 for 3 nights…. Definitely don’t recommend

TI did not receive a throw blanket or robes and sandals until the last day of my trip.

I loved the historical architecture and location

Room a bit musty with old carpet etc. A Grand hotel in its day

The staff was very friendly and followed up with us to make sure we had everything. The gentlemen at the front door was so helpful. Great location. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Only thing that we were not happy with was the food we got via room service. Overpriced and not very good.

The staff is professional, kind and responsive. The room was clean, the bed and linens are top notch. The building is old and lacks some amenities which would make it a 5-star property.

The concierge and staff were very nice. The rooms are disappointing. Very small, needs updating. Also restaurant was marginal at best and very expensive. For what I paid for the room, I was very disappointed.

I liked its location.

Staff outside did nothing to facilitate taxis or ride shares. They were rude about what I thought was their job

The Drake is a classic. Sadly they haven’t kept it up very well. Needs a major overhaul.
