Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites

On my first morning, I had to go down to the front desk for bathroom tissue. To have such a basic thing missed was not a good impression.

Very clean, valet parking, very helpful staff, and uber's and taxis avaliable in front of the hotel. Very close to everything downtown.

Very convenient location, literally next door to Chicago 360. Top floor heated pool is a great amenity with lake view. Room air conditioning is quiet and functioning pretty well. Room has good space but only has a coffee machine and microwave, could have been better stocked with a few dishes and cutleries since it's a suite. Front desk staff could have been friendlier.

The room was very nice and clean. It was very walkable when staying in downtown Chicago and very convenient. Parking is a hassle. We had to park in a public lot because that was cheap cheaper than valet. The restaurant they have on site is yummy and has a fun bartender. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback to the room or the pillows were not very comfortable, and the shower was leaking out the side of the door.

The hotel staff are great. The hotel itself needs updating and the beds are old and a bit saggy. The pillows were nice though. Location is pretty good depending on what area of the city is important to you.

Superb

Our major complaint was that we, along with 3 other families, booked this hotel mainly because of its indoor pool for the kids. We were told that the pool was out of service from the night before, but we later learned the pool had been shut down since the week prior. Management lied about that. I told them that they should have communicated the fact the roof top pool was closed prior to us coming knowing that we all had young kids. They offered no compensation or time frame for repairs. The buck was passed from one manger to another. We stayed 4 nights. Will not be recommending this place to friends and family

Leaky room, dirty carpets no hot water. The staff don’t care at all. This hotel is really not a good option

We had a leak in the room. Also there was no hot water for over 12 hours and no response from the staff. They were disinterested and unhelpful at all times.

Staff seemed generally unenthusiastic and like I was bothering them. Hotel was alright, outdated but clean. The room’s trash cans didn’t have bags in them for some reason

The location was ok but it’s a bit away from the more desirable spots. The location is ok but walking around we saw much better options for future stays Our first room was dirty and we found a large spider in the room. The furniture is really old and beat up. Also none of the plugs worked near the bed. We moved to another room cleaner and plugs worked but my daughter was bite by spiders in her bed twice. Furniture was again old and beat up.

Service poor

The pool on the top level has amazing views. The staff was really helpful. Room was a little too warm. The fold-out couch was lumpy but fine for our young son. The fridge stopped working but they fixed it as soon as we called. Great location, especially if you are comfortable riding the bus, you can get anywhere from there.

It was in a great area near lots of restaurants, stores and park.

The extra space in the suite was very nice to have since we were visiting friends.
