The room was large and comfortable, with super-comfy beds and excellent air conditioning, which made for a very relaxing stay. The only drawback was the bathroom toilet area, which felt a bit too confined and could definitely use more space and an upgrade. Hotel was conveniently located and we walked too so many places. A great bonus was the new bakery next door, absolutely amazing and such a convenient spot for breakfast or a treat. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The wonderful front desk team, spacious room, comfortable beds, and great AC made this a very pleasant first time Chicago experience!

Staff really made this stay the best for me and my son! They were more than helpful, fun and just normal people?

If I could rate on location alone… 5 stars easily. This hotel is old! Which is so much of its charm and what I wanted. Just wish it was upkept better since it is owned by BW. The location is perfect to Mag Mile and the red line. Lots of food options, groceries and shopping. But if you need more from a hotel than a shower and bed, don’t book here. The beds are comfy, the shower is hot! The pillows are terrible, and my hoodie would have provide more support, so if you can afford to stay other places…maybe do that.

Hotel is too old to be on the MagMile. Microwave and ice had to be delivered to the room. Cobwebs on the window. Complementary breakfast was cereal and toast. Elevators only hold 4-5 people max so you have to wait. Hallway smells like cigarette smoke

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my time there and appreciated the excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay again!

Where to start…. 1. The “free” breakfast was absolutely awful. Some really big bowls full of cereal, some fruit and a lot of bread. Honestly, one of the worst breakfast buffet I have ever seen. 2. The AC went out in our room and it was over 87° all night. Horrible night sleep. They couldn’t help until the next morning. Yes, they gave us a new room… but why couldn’t they do that overnight. Location was great, but that’s the only plus.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very limited, at times they ran out of food and it was not replenished for a long time. No warm food and very limited selection.
-
No breakfast as advertised, things seemed to be undergoing some changes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and surroundings were clean. Tried some appetizers from restaurant which were very good. Location was fantastic. Would certainly recommend.
-
Good coffee gorgeous room. Very dated corridors and dining room. One of the worst hotel breakfasts. Great cocktails
-
curtains were ripped, very old outdated furniture, bathroom door cracked.
-
The hotel was good and staff was helpful. My only complaint was the shower! There was little to no water pressure and at times we had to wait for any water at all.
-
The location was outstanding. My only other comment is that the interior had not been updated in a long, long time.

The Hotel is located in a great area. Unfortunately it’s an older hotel and you can hear others through the wall with the rooms next to yours. If your room is facing the street there is street noise. The room was clean a little dated as it’s an older hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would probably only stay here again if the other hotels in the area I normally stay at are not available which is why I ended up at the hotel. The bakery coffee place in the lobby was good. I didn’t utilize the restaurant.
-
Excellent location. Comfortable, clean bed. Clean, well equipped gym for a small hotel. Bathroom was very dated, didn’t feel especially clean. Breakfast was free so I only went once but am glad I didn’t pay for it, was very basic and food didn’t look very fresh.

Great hotel in an awesome location!

Very clean and close to everything
