The Whitehall Hotel, BW Premier Collection

There was not rest during our stay here. You can hear everything going on outside and every door that opens and closes. There I security guard on the floor that keeps walking around and his radio is so loud, someone is constantly talking on the other side that we could not sleep multiple nights. It is in the great location but I would recommend paying little extra for some good sleep at night.

The property and room were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. Chicago station (red line) was within a few minutes walking distance. Wrigley Field is off of that line. If driving to the hotel, wait to check in to speak to the front desk regarding parking. They have additional information on parking and could possibly save you money. Convenient location for many sights and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Whitehall Hotel.

Well Great hotel and location booked a 3 night stay ...we got their and elevator was not working so we had to go up 5 stories second tvs also didn't work for our 3 night stay ....elevator did get fix same day.....they gave us a $100 discount on our stay...overall it's a good hotel would recommend

Excellent location especially for sight seeing. Close to the red line, easy access. Fast elevator but tiny. Front desk was hospitable and very accommodating.

The only good thing about this hotel is being close to downtown Chicago.

We arrived early and asked to store our luggage so we could go sightseeing. However, the front desk person was so nice and checked us in early. The room was clean and comfortable. The environment was quiet and restful after a long day. It was nice to have access to a continental breakfast each morning. The staff was very helpful when we had questions about the best way to reach our various destinations each day. The checkout process was very easy. We would definitively stay here again.

Convenient for the occasion’s itinerary. Reception lady was not helpful, knowledgeable & not appreciative that we chose this hotel. No room service. Better eat before going back to the hotel. Continental breakfast was dry.

Great value in the Gold Coast of Chicago. Great location - easy to walk everywhere. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. We have stayed here before and will return again. The hotel is ready for a major refreshment .. carpets, elevators, etc.

No microwave in the rooms OR in the lobby Continental breakfast was good. GREAT location for bars/restaurants/shops! I would stay again

Great location, spacious room (Jr Suite), clean, and friendly and helpful front desk staff and restaurant bartender.

1. A couple times we went downstairs throughout the day and the front desk and lobby was completely empty 2. Not much activity as far as other customers being there I only saw one couple there 3. We arrived a bit early and instead of the lady charging us the $30 for early entrance she charged me $ 4 as far as amenities our room did not had a microwave or much going on other then a small coffee maker

Very charming hotel. Loved the art deco bathroom! The room was large for an old inner city hotel. Plus you cannot beat the location!! So reasonably priced too. Definitely would stay again.

Couldn’t get in early and hotel amenities in lobby, front “porch” were so so but all else good. Good value relatively speaking.

It is ideally situated just a minute's walk from North Michigan Avenue. The staff were very helpful and my requests were fulfilled straight away.

Checking in around 11pm we interacted with a very friendly and helpful man at the desk, who gave us amazing recommendations for pubs that were still open in the area. The room was clean and very comfortable. Parking wasn’t exactly ideal, and was expensive for the night, but I don’t think that’s any fault of the hotel as it’s an independently owned garage across the street.
