This is a great place to stay if you know what you're getting into! Sharing a room can be hit or miss, and I had some louder roommates some nights, and some very kind and considerate roommates other nights. The shared bathroom was nice enough, but I didn't realize I would be sharing it with 7 other people. Luckily, there is a big common area with multiple bathrooms just in case. And speaking of the common area, I loved spending time there! It's a nice, chill space with lots of fun activities like table tennis and pool, plus lots of room to find a comfy spot to read for a while. The location is also amazing, and you really can't beat the price. All in all, I had a pleasant time here and would definitely stay again if on a budget.

Property sits directly at the confluence beside train tracks of orange, green and brown lines. Trains run until 2am and restart at 4 am …. Every 3-5 mins or directly behind each other. So if you need sleep - drink heavily or avoid.

I felt safe in my dorm and had a locker to put my things in. Everybody was friendly enough.

Had a great weekend visit and highly recommend this place for a stay

This was a convenient overnight option whilst experiencing a layover w Amtrak. This property is just a mile from Union Station and perfect for my needs. I was there less than 12 hours but everything was nice, clean and secure.

Everything good

The location was central but also quite noisy as the building is beside the train and it is a fairy low rise compared to many buildings. Price was expensive for a private room with shared bathroom with 2 other rooms. I think if I booked a 3-star hotel, the prices may be slightly higher but not a lot higher. Therefore I felt the value I paid was not worth the inconvenience of the property (eg. lack of private bathroom and noisy location).

Different room

Everything was fine until a. Hour before checkout. I left my room for a bit and whilst I was gone the cleaner moved things off my bed to strip the sheets. My items were missing and cleaner claimed to know nothing about them. I did eventually get them back. Cleaner had no right to move my things and strip my bed an hour before official checkout time.

The bed was very co.fortable. TVs but no tv services. The walls were not finished and had lint from other guest stuck to the unfinish walls.

Great location, clean, huge kitchen and great staff!

The property was clean. There is a lot of activities on the 2nd floor. The free coffee in the morning is a plus. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The staff was amazing.

The people here were awesome. We loved meeting people from all over the world and watching the World Cup together. The building, though, is pretty old and could use better maintenance. Our floor had water dripping from the ceiling the entire time and smelled like sewage. The staff seemed exhausted and weren’t very friendly, but the other guests were incredibly kind and helpful. This was the first hostel I stayed at when I came to the U.S., so I still have a soft spot for it and really hope it gets better.
