The view and friendly staff Wasn’t notified about the wifi

The staff was very nice and professional ! I like how the hotel is centrally located downtown and how they have a delicious breakfast buffet.

Nothing Rooms were not clean. I checked in and there was leftovers from the previous guest in the fridge. One day they did not clean the room

Having a Starbucks on property was very helpful! Good location and incredibly helpful staff.

Nice property and staff. It’s a huge place, with everything you need (restaurant, entertainment room with games, pool, bar, etc), but very busy and bustling.

The building is beautiful though and very well located. Most of the staff was very nice and professional.

Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Our room was by the CTA so we heard that running all night.

Historic hotel but needs ALOT of updating. Upon check in, rooms were very dusty and bathroom shower walls had rust spots, wall paper peeling and what also appeared to be mold in between the tiles. Room carpet needs shampooing as it had a mildew smell

It was my first time in Chicago. Stay was ok. But breakfast was not included.

Everything Nothing

I loved the view I thought I would be higher up but it still wasn't too bad and it was very close to all the places I wanted to go such as the Field museum The bed was low to the ground and the room was kinda small for a king suite, the shower was pretty small as well.

While the front desk staff was very helpful, housekeeping was a major disappointment. During our four-day stay, we had to repeatedly ask to have our room cleaned. On the day of a wedding, we requested fresh towels and waited over two hours for them to arrive. Because they never came in time, we had to get ready using damp towels and ended up late to the ceremony. On our first night, we woke up to find dead bugs all over the bathroom floor. When housekeeping finally showed up at 5 p.m., we were getting ready for an event and politely asked if she could come back in five minutes. She refused, said she was done for the day, and would not be returning, so the room was never cleaned. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping staff had a noticeably poor attitude. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the hotel had the audacity to charge us a late checkout fee. This experience overshadowed an otherwise positive interaction with the front desk.

Very good stay the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable, close to all the good spots as well. I’d stay here again in the future
