Have staff explain how the card key works with elevators, too many people didn’t know.
-
Nice place & great location. We would stay there again.

Great stay The ONLY thing wrong Was they ONLY had One elevator working
-
out of 2 Eleveators one was not working and they are least bothered to repair it and its a july 4th weekend. we were waiting for 10-20 mins to go in and out.
-
Hotel clean , staff very friendly , breakfast ok but if you don’t go during that first hour you might be out of luck on some items . Only a 15 minute walk to museums and 45 minute walk to the pier which doesn’t seem that long when walking through grant park.

Very clean very friendly staff would stay again

It had everything we wanted

Best location, rooms and amenities in Chicago!
-
The hotel was clean. We checked our bags when we arrived but then after a meal we ended up checking in early. We were able to get a room next to our parents. The kids loved the pool. We were not expecting such a big kitchen in our suite but if we stayed longer it would have used more. The breakfast was great.

great location for traveling to chicago!

No housekeeping for 3 days, out of coffee in the room. Asked for some at the desk and all they had were kureig pods and didn't have a kureig in the room. However, had shaving cream, mine was confiscated at airport.
-
Well maintained hotel with clean common areas. Food was fresh and hot, a little cramped in the breakfast area but no problems getting in.
-
Very close to Grant Park good hotel overall, but they are connected to the garden Inn so they literally have two elevators one goes to gardening. The other goes to Homewood literally same front door same desk so you have to wait to check in until you can get someone and then you literally get assigned to the Homewood suites elevator kind of ridiculous to stick two entirely separate hotels with one front desk

Clean room and staff was very friendly.

It was a hot few days while we stayed there. We reserved one of the nicer corner suites. The second night our AC quit working in the middle of the night. Woke up at 4:30 am to the room being 79degrees. I am a woman in my upper 40’s and this kind of temperature is practically unbearable.

I didn't use the parking facilities, so I can't comment on them. I'm not even sure if the hotel has its own parking, but if you're traveling by car, it's probably worth checking in advance. Overall, the location is definitely the hotel's biggest advantage.

I booked 2 rooms. The issues that followed: Our rooms were not clean when we arrived to them. The Breakfast host was rude to my mother, questioning how many people we had in our room. When the host was informed about us having 2 room she still was rude. They give you a print out that states that additional people in your room will be charged 20.00. For our rooms, they lacked the cookware and we had to ask the front desk twice. The only good thing was the location and the pet friendly booking. And about the dog section in front of the hotel, beware that people toss trash in them. They state that they are always this busy and sometimes things are missed, keep that in mind if you plan to use this location.

Our room had an adjoining room (not travelling with them) . The sound insulation was bad. They had their TV on around 5 AM and they were on their phone talking woth someone else. We could hear them!!!
