Hotel Saint Clair- Magnificent Mile

Everything was great

Nate at the front desk was great and very personable!

The AC in the room we were given wasn’t working and it took over an hour for them to give us a new room. But other than that the room was clean and staff was friendly.

The room, bathroom, elevator, pretty much everything was very small. Nowhere to place your luggage, so we had to put them on the beds (I find that to be gross, considering the amount of travel they go through). The bathroom door doesn’t close (sliding door) and if you’re rooming with anyone, they can look in through the inch and a half gap. And there’s no lock. Or fan. Overall, it was clean and close to mag mile. Just small with little privacy.

I got a great rate which can sometimes be indicative of a poorly run property however that wasn't the case at all! The staff was professional and very nice and the room was renovated (so not old school Chicago) and very spacious. The location is great, very close to the Mag Mile and other businesses. I thought the value for the money was spectacular. Highly recommend!!!

Shower pressure could’ve been better, could’ve had better and more affordable parking options

We loved our location and they were incredibly helpful. We were able to walk to all of the things that we desire to do the beach may be pier, various shopping stores, and restaurants. We did park in different garage to save- and I would recommend shopping around to find a good rate. Pros- incredible location! Get a deluxe room to have a mini fridge and microwave at your convenience. We were 14 floors up and we had a corner room, stunning views. Decent sized bathroom there is no storage in the bathroom. Which brings me to the cons- the temperature was wildly regulated. We tried to put it at 73 and ended up being at 74. It wouldn’t kick on. We also had an experience that it wouldn’t turn off even when it met the required temperature. Eventually, we just shut it off and came back to a warmer room, but it was absolutely freezing and woke us up more than once. We were trying to set it at 72 but it seemed like it was constantly getting either colder or it was consistently running at that temperature. Not sure how that would ever get fixed, but just so you know. However, the staff was amazingly helpful, friendly- be aware that you’re only able to have five people in the elevator- the elevators are incredibly small! Overall, we would definitely book again stunning locations with beautiful views. We hope to be back soon.

The hotel was a great place to sleep and refresh after a day of exploring Chicago. The elevators are painfully slow but other that was our only complaint. Rooms were clean, there was a mini fridge and microwave, beds were comfortable, the towels were stocked. The location is also great… everything you need in walking distance

The staff is very friendly and eager to help when you have questions or complaints. The location is GREAT! You are a short walk from Michigan Avenue, there are restaurants and shopping all within walking distance and the area is bustling with activity. So much fun!!

Room was clean and ready

The room was clean and more spacious than expected. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Ask for room services. Was told housekeeping comes between 8 and 2 . I left room around 10. Because the housekeeping was pass my room at 10 I didn't get service. I had to call down to get clean towels. Housekeeping needs to do better.

The rooms are extremely small. We initially booked a superior king and didn’t even have room to spread out our two suitcases. I complained and was told the photos on their website are old and don’t reflect the current rooms. They were accommodating and moved me to an ADA room which gave us a little more room to move around, but with a roll in shower with no water pressure and water would always soak the entire bathroom floor. The hotel is very conveniently located but has very few amenities. Housekeeping is only upon request which we didn’t realize until mid-way through our stay. There are only two elevators with a five person capacity for 16 floors, so getting an elevator is tricky at peak times. If you can get a good deal, it’s fine. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Too small room + the room itself was not clean at all.

A solid place to stay that is centrally located. The room was nice and the staff was awesome. I'd stay here again no problem
