The Chicago Hotel Collection - Wrigleyville

The check-in process is a little odd, but overall, we had a great stay. If you know how to travel, you'll be just fine here. Surprising amount of low reviews. Rooftop deck was awesome!

2. Given keys to a dirty room 3. Given keys to a new room - but someone was IN THERE. 4. Wait 30 mins for them to clean dirty room. 5. Front desk lady was scrambling and handing us drink tickets as compensation. We were there with two kids. People in the lobby were irritable waiting 30+ mins for room keys. 6. My husband takes a nap and she let herself in the room to drop off water bottles (that we didn’t order). 7. Bathroom barn door didn’t stay closed and room door squeak could wake the dead. 8. Both lobby Keurigs were broken in the morning. 9. The room was tiny and no frills but the beds were comfy. Why they don’t just hire staff to avoid all these negative reviews is beyond me.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and there was very, very loud live music from the bars until after 1:30 am. I had to sleep with headphones on and rain sounds playing to drown the noise out. I didn't realize this hotel was on the main bar strip. Other than that, the hotel itself was nice.

2) on a street lined with bars, so noisy till the wee hours 3) staffed minimally of at all. Rarely any hotel employees and when present, not helpful 4) good luck checking in. A group arrived. No staff at hotel. They called all the numbers, no Reply for hours. Basically fails at the core purpose Of the hotel: sleep and help. They don’t even clean the room during your stay.

Great hotel!! Terrible self checkin process. No staff, no one to answer phones or let you in property.

Look like a barracks and or a hostile very disappointing didn't expect that. Really skimpy on the towels could have made up for it on providing enough towels and other Sundries but when requested from hotel staff they did nothing to help. Very disappointing service level. Frankly that is shocking how they got away with that but they were close to Wrigley baseball field during the baseball season for the Cubs and I guess you could just treat people like crap because of your location location. But the Cubs aren't always in season. Would never stay there again. And would advise others that I know not to also..

If your going to offer kureg coffee, I think you should have a larger selection. Putting your complimentary drinks in your room is nice but should be cold not room temperature. Know one like drinking warm Bud Light.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Horribly maintained property. Rude and disrespectful staff. They wouldn’t let us cancel our booking, fine. It’s their policy, that’s okay. We went ahead and changed our plans to just stay there anyways, after all, we paid for the room. But when we arrived to check in, they wouldn’t let us into the building. The door is locked from the outside and there is no staff on site. The customer service rep on the phone was rude and disrespectful and still proceeded to over complicate the situation. We ended up driving 3.5 hours home in the middle of the night and they charged us for the stay anyways. If you like getting scammed out of a few hundred dollars, save yourself a trip to a casino and just book at this hotel!

The baseball theme was great, very cool hotel. The location was perfect for Wrigley, and you had many bars/food options close. The room floors could have been cleaner, floors didn't look swept, tile was sticky, lights needed dusting. The bathroom seemed very clean along with bed/bedding. The door didn't shut really well and it was tough to open so we just had to make sure we pulled tight to close. A lot of reviews with complaints about the self-check-in/out and I'm not sure why?? It was very easy and the front desk was so nice! I did have to call the hotel a couple times before our trip to confirm pricing, and they were always helpful and I didn't have to wait on the phone long! All-in-all, it was a good visit, and we'd stay there again for the location.

Clean room, and good location but the staff is nowhere to be found and completely unhelpful.

Close to Wrigley Field and that’s the only convenience it has to offer. No parking on site, no valet parking offered, the hallways smelled terrible. The room doesn’t offer a refrigerator. The drink coupons that came with the room were for the bar/ restaurant next door but closed early. I will never stay here again.

This location is great for going to a Cubs game! The hotel is beautiful and has so much character, the rooms are well maintained and the rooftop has an awesome view, and the staff is very friendly (offering suggestions for food and parking). I traveled with my dog and this was a great option for us to be close to Wrigley and also close to the neighborhoods for walks. They offer complimentary drink and food tickets for the sister property that was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Trying to find parking was our only issue but the hotel itself was beautiful. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Be prepared for street noise, especially on weekends, and definitely if the Cubs win.

Great spot to stay after a home Cubs game. Close to everything and you can walk to all venues from here. If you stay on a weekend the nightlife can get a little noisy for a light sleeper but to be expected based on the location. I would stay here again for a night or two.
