Our room was $1500 for the night, yes $1500. Upon arrival, it’s very confusing - and is merely the lobby of an office building. There was no one to direct us - we walked around aimlessly trying to find check in until I realized it was on the 2nd floor. No signage - no humans - nothing. The lobby was pretty but lacked the authentic decadence of other nearby properties Peninsula, Ritz, Four Seasons etc. The hallway carpeting was run down and the room itself was so underwhelming I felt like it was 3 or maybe a 4 star property on a good day. The only special aspect of the room was the hand soap. Our breakfast waiter was half asleep. Not an ounce of enthusiasm or even a smile. Overall, The Langham was so underwhelming in every way- I’d never return. Too many other spectacular options, in better locations, to choose from.

One of the most gorgeous, well staffed hotels we have ever visited. The view from our room was incredible. The decor was updated and the bathroom was a dream. A great way to celebrate our anniversary in the city!

Unbelievable stay at the Langham. Executive club access is well worth it. Chicago is an incredible city and I can’t imagine a better stay anywhere in Chicago. I was blown away.

Super great stay for our girls trip! Pool was closed while we were there. Very solid hotel-excellent staff, great room service, & nicely kept rooms.

It was not worth what I paid. The spa was a disappointment. The steam rooms and sauna were small and uncomfortable. One of the steam rooms had missing tiles and loose tiles. I did not care for the pool. Check-in went well and the rooms were good size. The beds were comfortable. However, the rooms are not sound proof. I was on the top floor and I could hear the noise from the street. I will stay somewhere else on my next visit.
