Very clean good front desk staff probably need more clarity on the parking situation and more communication on pricing because i was charged 100 more than what i was supposed to

Fabulous room overlooking the river, and one of the biggest hotel rooms I have stayed in. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend it to anyone who visits Chicago Nothing!

Overall, everything was great! Unfortunately, the TRUMP tower is your view!

The hotel is on the very busy side of the river on Wacker Drive. There's definitely more noise and the parking is not convenient at all unless you valet park. Also beware of booking rooms on the 38th floor because there's ballroom on the 39th floor and when the music is playing you can hear it all in the room.

In the evening, the hotel manager proactively called our room to sincerely apologize for the mix-up. To make things right, she graciously offered us free breakfast for both days of our stay! This level of attentiveness and professionalism completely transformed our experience. The team at The Royal Sonesta truly understands excellent customer service and outstanding service recovery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting downtown Chicago!

Have a friendly, knowledgeable and polite staff. Hotel in an ideal location, rooms are clean, restaurant in hotel. It's in walking distance to numerous downtown amenities, sights, museums, parks, etc.
