Great service, loved the staff. And it’s located at the heart of the city. Came back everyday greeted at the door and to a clean room.
-
Excellent location ease of access to The Riverwalk and downtown. Great deal for downtown Chicago.

I liked the fact of early check in because we got there early afternoon and was able to get settled before heading out. The breakfast had me livid you had a choice of 3 items - yogurt with fruit, oatmeal or the “lobby” breakfast: eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage or bacon - anyways on Day 1 what we actually got was 2 eggs, 1 strip of bacon, toast and hash brown it was my husband and I on the trip (wedding anniversary) and I got the same thing with pork sausage 1 link cut in half and we got coffee and water. Day 2 we got the same thing and the hash brown could not be eaten it was fried so hard it was a crumbled mess unbelievable the host apologized and said he would speak to the kitchen manager - in all my time of traveling, I have never ever seen a breakfast spread like this such a turn off and I will not be back to Hilton Garden Inn if I ever visit Chicago again. Also hair was in the shower ughhh and my eyeliner rolled behind the table under the TV so my husband pulled it out and so much trash was back there if not for the eyeliner falling I wouldn’t have seen that but how are these rooms being cleaned??? When ppl pay money for a room we expect that the entire room is cleaned because you never know what rolls where and to the male clerk that worked today plz have some better customer service not a fan of your abrupt attitude either.

I arrived a few hours before check-in time and was able to go to my room early without any extra charge. Staff was very helpful. Ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant--best hamburger I've had in a long time!
-
Well located property. Pleasant staff, smallish rooms, comfortable bed, decent shower. Fast elevator. Not many rooms per floor so all near elevator with constant pinging. Good value but probably wouldn't stay again.

Good location. A decent value.

hotel bad

Street noise was pretty bad. Ask for a high floor. Convenient location. Overall good place to stay.
-
Clean room, friendly staff. Very squeaky bed, bottom sheet didn't fit, kept coming off at corners. Outside noise could be somewhat muffled with drapes. Bars near Wrigley had nicer toilet paper than my $400+/night hotel room! Breakfast was slow and quality just ok. Lukewarm oatmeal. Not great for the price paid, probably won't be back.

Our room was clean, had a great view of the river, comfortable bed. Hotel was clean, offered a small food and drink market, which was helpful when we needed something. We arrived early morning and they tagged and held our luggage while we explored the city until our room was ready. The location of the hotel was perfect for us us to walk to Navy Pier and walk to the park, Cloud Gate and shopping.

Nice place
-
Excellent and convenient safe location, near to a lot of restaurants, shops, transportation, museums, the Millenium park, the Cultural Center and the Writers Museum. The hotel staff is great, the amenities are nice, clean and modern. The bar and restaurant offer limited choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed our 5 days stayed at the Hilton Garden Hotel. Will stay at this hotel again.

Great location. Super easy and quick check in.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The best part of the hotel is the location. Probably a two minute walk to the Riverwalk, and right next to Michigan ave. The only complaint is the hotel is directly across from a job site, the hotel across the street is going through renovations. It gets pretty noisy early in morning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are a light sleeper until that job is done. Otherwise, the room had just enough space for us, staff was friendly, and again, location was great for us to explore downtown.
