Great location can get a bit noisy but really nice hotel.

The Pendry was absolutely beautiful! The bar, restaurant and cafe on site were amazing and delicious! Also the accessibility to all the attractions we planned to go to was amazing! We were able to walk almost everywhere and the metro was one block away making our trip amazing! We will definitely stay here again! Staff was amazing and friendly especially the doormen!! Loved loved loved!!

A must stay. Old world charm with all the modern comforts you would expect.
-
Unbelievable staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. The location was ideal for the Riverwalk and Lake Michigan with all their nice restaurants.
-
Wonderful hotel with attentive staff. Should bring back ice machines.

Great property in the heart of the city

Anniversary memorable as she upgraded our room to a suite and sent a bottle of Prosecco and box of chocolates to our room plus a voucher for oysters at the restaurant. Kudos to her for being so kind and thoughtful. Thank you so much!!

The Pendry is in the heart of everything downtown. The blue line in from the airport was about a 7 minute walk from the lake stop. Rooftop bar is a nice visit as well as the lobby bar. Great staff, good vibes.

The rooms and hallways are incredibly bare and lack personality. You won't find any thoughtful decor that speaks to Chicago or the history of the building. The spaces are outfitted with the absolute bare minimum furnishings. We booked two rooms, and the room with the double beds only had a single chair. The room itself was clean and fine, but entirely unmemorable and under-furnished. While the housekeeping team kept our room clean, the rest of the property feels neglected. For example, a cocktail glass left on a bench right by the elevator sat there completely untouched for two consecutive nights. Chicago has too many strong hotel options to justify luxury pricing without a luxury-level experience. Skip this one and book elsewhere if you value a good night's sleep.

Highly recommend 😎

The staff was very welcoming! The bellman greeted us by name the entire trip. Great location for shopping and the riverwalk. Highly recommend!

The staff in its entirety need to be replaced. Tried to use the concierge to make a dinner reservation on Saturday evening and they could not get it, but when we walked by the restaurant at the time we were looking for, they sat us right down as a walk in. Was talking to Crystal at the front desk the next morning and after about 10 minutes I grabbed my lower back and bent over to stretch (had a surgery 3 days prior) she said to me that I was being disrespectful because she thought I was bending lower to talk to her. I'm a little guy, 5'6" and she is shorter than me, but I was certainly not bending over 10 minutes into a conversation to get 'eye to eye' with her. It was then I realized that the Pendry is more interested in hiring a diverse work staff with complete disregard for the customer or the customer's needs or respect. For $750 plus a night, it is nowhere near worth the price and will never stay here again. I can get into the on-premises dining, but that is another joke and huge disappointment. Also, not one 'happy Father's Day', was there with my daughter, from a single person on the staff. Too many better places in Chicago to settle for this place.

Stayed in 5th floor and it was very noisy. A lot of outside noise. At one point I thought the window was open because of amount of outside noise I could hear. Room was quite warm at times even with A/C on due to where the single vent was located.

The location is on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Walker Drive and it can be very very noisy at night! Interestingly, we stayed at London House a few times which is just a block away from Pendry, but it was not as noisy at night. But then again, it could be due to the times we were at London House (often during winter time)?! Room is clean and very spacious. We had a corner room. I requested for the turn down service, but only got it one night in our 4 night stay at Pendry.

We were celebrating an anniversary. We had a greay stay. It was close to all the shopping and restaurants, staff were great and helpful. We will be back again!

Beautiful hotel. Very clean which is very important to me. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. Food and drink prices at the restaurant/bar were high. Other than that, would highly recommend.
