Loved the hotel

We love citizenM and had great experience with the one we booked in Seattle. Although this was a very similar vibe, our room was soaked from the vent and me and my husbands shoes and clothes got wet the 2nd day we were there. I had let the front desk know that it was leaking early that morning. They stated that they knew and are working on it. I understand it might not get fixed since it appeared to be a big issue with multiple units experiencing the same thing, but it would have been nice to come back to a cleaned up room and extra towels. It was an unfortunate turn of events, and walking Chicago with wet shoes was very uncomfortable.

Location, patio and 24/7 restaurant The rooms were extremely small for two people and no top sheet. You cannot go around the bed so we rotated the pillows orientation during the first night as suggested by the hotel, but housekeeping did not keep the same orientation. AC was also leaking all over the floor.

Blackout blind was great for getting some good rest I find the whole citizenM brand to be trying a bit too hard.

The staff was over the top friendly. Absolutely welcoming and homey place.

Did have a leaky air vent (probably because of the ac blasting but went away after a few days, annoying regardless). Staff were very friendly and the lounge was great. Did not have a fridge or if that drawer was supposed to be a fridge it was not cold (I’m sure the staff could’ve helped but it wasn’t a big enough concern for us as we were out all day). Fantastic location. And the gym has almost everything you’d need so I was very pleased with that. Would recommend to those traveling in a couple who are okay being a little snug. The lights in the room can be changed to make it a little more romantic if you’re into that.

Loved our stay. Great staff and enjoyed the rooms. Younger crowd generally but we had a great time. Location was super and only a short walk to CTA Stations, Millenium park, and the River. Would stay here again. Rooms are small but have everything we needed.

The location of the hotel was walking distance to everything. The room was small, but that didn't bother me because my sister and I were out and about most of the day. The room was just right for showering and sleeping. The breakfast was amazing! Ebony was so helpful and made sure I was well taken care of during my stay. Jay was very nice and made sure I had delicious drinks while sitting at the bar. No complaints :)

Loved everything about this hotel! The staff was awesome, the room was spotless, and the bar and food options were perfect for late night snacking and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again!

The place had areas to work with access for laptops. The breakfast was a buffet style but a little expensive.

The location and price were great. I’ve been to Chicago before and this hotel is right in downtown, great walking distance of food, attractions, and stores. The decor and style of the hotel is great! The only dislike I have was my first room had water leakage. Besides that I had no problems

The room was exceptionally clean and had all the little touches that made it feel comfortable and welcoming. I especially liked using the iPad to control everything from the lights to the blinds—it was intuitive and a fun modern feature. The breakfast offered a great selection and was a wonderful way to start the day. My favorite part of the hotel, though, was the fourth-floor lounge deck overlooking Michigan Avenue. It was a perfect place to relax and take in the city.
