Great location, river and marina walks minutes away, a great place to stay of its your first stay in Chicago. Check out the London House Rooftop bar next door, you won’t be disappointed. Not an issue for me personally but traffic and late night outside noise could be an issue for some.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is the room was terribly hot and the air conditioner would not cool it off. The air conditioner also made a loud rattling sound. It wasn't just my room, my friend's room was the same way.

The room and the facility were just right, and the location was lovely. But the best thing about the stay was the helpfulness and interest from the staff. From upgrading our room (to include the great view!), to helping us find one of the five Starbucks Roasterys in the world, and storing our luggage after we checked out, the service was personal and effective. Jock was especially helpful, and really seemed to enjoy helping us with every part of our stay. I would definitely return to this hotel for my next Chicago visit.

Location was great as you're pretty much in downtown Chicago within walking distance of most touristy sights, attractions and activities. Free water with bottles to fill was great. Vouchers for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Land & Lake Kitchen was very much welcomed. During my stay only one of the lifts/elevators worked for the higher floors, this left a very unpleasant experience. At some point, the only working lift was not working properly and we would have to call reception from our floor to be picked up by an employee in the lift. On one occasion I had to wait at least 40mins to get the lift down from my room floor on the 19th floor. The rooms and floors desperately need an update, but considering the price paid compared to other hotels in the vicinity, this is somewhat expected and can be overlooked. Other than the lift/elevator situation, generally an okay experience.

Great location and in the middle of all the best things! There was no ice machine. I could not sync my phone with the WiFi to stream my viewing apps. When I called the front desk, the attendant walked me through how to do it. It still didn’t work and he said that he would send somebody to help. Nobody ever came to help.
