Location, comfort, ambience The rooftop staff weren't accommodation at all

Though, because the hotel location is in center of downtown Chicago, it is very noisy even in hotel room in every evening.

We stayed here for our 40th anniversary and we loved it. Great location. Great room with an amazing view! Great on site bars and restaurants. Close to everything downtown!! The best thing about London House was the service! Everyone there seemed intent on making it a memorable weekend for us. Thank you! We will be back!

Lovely hotel and great breakfast but street noise was disruptive to sleep.

The room was very spacious and the hotel was in a great location right in front of the Chicago River. If you don't get a room facing the river the view is terrible. You look out onto the top of other buildings. The toilet seat was not secure and we had to flush twice a few times. Our room door was loud and luckily we noticed if you don't slam the door it doesn't close. Overall the room was nice and we didn't complain but we will probably choose a different hotel next time.

The staff was rude, and gave zero to little customer service. The spa staff was hard to work with.
-
Excellent location! Right in the middle of everything ! We only had to walk a few blocks in either direction to get to any where we wanted to go 10 out of 10 going to be coming back !

This is our favorite place to stay every time we're in Chicago.
-
The vista rooms have a gorgeous view across the Chicago river. They also get a lot of street noise because it reflects off the high rises across the Chicago river. Nothing like hearing motorcycle engines, drunk wedding guests, party buses, loud cars until 4 am.
-
Beautiful! Comfortable and close to everything near the Riverwalk. I would stay here again. One suggestion, a microwave in the rooms.
-
I loved everything about this location. Very beautiful hotel.
-
Overall it was a reasonably nice hotel but I would not stay there again.

Great location, view of the river. Good security. Had room service for morning coffee. Wonderful!

The location was also excellent and made it convenient to enjoy everything the area had to offer. The rooftop was absolutely magnificent, the bar had a great atmosphere, and our room was spotless and refreshed every day. What stood out most was the way the staff cared for their guests. Everyone was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and always willing to help. I did experience one minor issue during my stay, but it was handled quickly and professionally, which I truly appreciated. Everything seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. Between the luxurious atmosphere, great location, beautiful rooftop, cleanliness, and outstanding service, this was an exceptional stay. I will definitely be returning!
