There is construction around the hotel which is understandably outside of their control but keep in mind for accessing the hotel. Easy access to the L and buses. There is transit noise due to the proximity to the trains which may be bothersome to some if you’re not used to city noise. The only reason for the mid level review is the quality of the rooms themselves. The rooms are a bit outdated and the building seems as

This was a birthday trip for myself and a few friends joined me. Totally underwhelmed and 100% not satisfied with the room and hotel overall, for the price point paid. Let’s get started with me booking an “upgrade” which definitely didn’t give upgrade feel at all, Outside of it being a corner room. There was daily early morning construction noise. No rooftop access. It was closed for a “private event” and not open to guests! For almost $2k paid for 3 nights and no amenities! I knew there was no pool but certainly was looking forward to having access to the rooftop. Absolutely not! Upon check in, I asked the front desk agent to use a seperate credit card for “incidental” charges of $150 per night, passed her my card and all. She never used that card and used the one that I did Not authorize for those charges. For this to be a birthday trip I was highly disappointed with overall stay! On top of that they took additional charges from the incidental amount given that was not advised would be taken! I would not stay here ever again and would not recommend. I am currently waiting for a follow up from the Hilton guest relations, regarding all concerns!

Location

The room was ok with the exception being the ac didn't work and I had to sleep with the windows open to vent the portable that was in the room. That seems subpar considering the cost per night.
