theWit Chicago, a Hilton Hotel

My stay at theWit Chicago was just okay and did not meet my expectations. The staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming, and the room lacked many of the amenities I would expect from a hotel at this price point. The bed was very comfortable, and the convenient downtown location, where it is close to the Riverwalk, theaters, restaurants, and public transportation, was the best part of the experience. Overall, however, the service and room fell short, so I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Great view and Greg location awesome bathroom Ac barely worked it was very hot. Bathroom door and curtains were broken.

Wonderful location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

We felt welcome and safe. Everything went smoothly and easy to stay.

I wish the rooms had microwaves but other than that everything was perfect

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Everyone was super nice. Rooms were super clean. Including the halls and elevators. Front desk gave us waters. The only downfall, was the bathroom. It’s a roll door and there ends up being a large crack on either side, not shutting fully. The handle to turn on the shower is right in the middle of the wall and I kept elbowing it. Lastly, our vent was not working. We made note to the front desk when we checked, out so hopefully for the next guests that won’t be an issue! Otherwise, amazing hotel!!

Very comfy and a great location.

I was traveling for business for 4 nights. I wish I was told in advance how much construction was taking place in the neighborhood which was very loud and busy. The noise from that on top of the train made it uncomfortable. During my second night the AC in my room broke and could not be fixed. Plus there were no other rooms for me. So following that night of 80 degrees in my room, I checked out. While the staff were apologetic they didn’t do anything to fix the problem. Never again.

The room was nice and we had a nice view. We didn’t get a chance to use the Amenities. Staff was great and very helpful.

The resort fees & room incidentals hold were a bit of a surprise. I like what they do with the resort fees, but the daily room hold seems....a lot.

Great location Staff wasn’t amenable There was an ice room that smelt like a dead animal Hidden charges Room services comes with additional charges and you can’t use credit towards room service Employees are completely clueless I could go on

Exceptional

Only issue we had was the parking expense. Pretty pricey, but that’s the big city. Location was excellent.

The room had a great view and it's a good location. Very difficult to drop off and pick up people with car out front; my mom is ADA and I had to park in the road and block traffic. People will just park out front and leave their cars, or maybe the valet doesn't move the cars quick enough. A lot of the night stand and desk plugs didn't work (especially the USB plugs) in the room, and the fridge was malfunctioning or was just a stupid brand, which I did mention to the staff; they were friendly but definitely the default assumption was that I didn't know how to operate a fridge so I gave up. Overall, the rooms are sliding downhill. There was also and ugly plastic statue in the room which just took up space.

Went for 2026 BTS Tour. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and easily reachable with a text for general questions.

Great stay. Would definitely stay here again
