This IS the best value !!! Kind staff and many nice toiletries plus breakfast plus spacious clean rooms make this motel stand out !!!!

Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Room smelled horrible, as if it was a smoker’s room. The bathroom air vent was obnoxiously loud, toilet paper holder was broken, looked like it was one of those old metal ones that usually are in an abandoned park. Sheets were stained, they were clean but stained. The shower was dirty, had to place the towels down because I wasn’t touching the shower tub in bare feet. Everything was unplug, had to plug everything myself, loud guests. Won’t be staying here again nor I recommend it.

Only stay here if you don’t value your life! Sketchy people and breakfast was a joke. Safety locks on door broken off, air conditioning did work and pool was closed!

The price was great. The location was convenient for downtown and CSU Chico access. The clientele was what you might expect from a low-priced accommodation, but the staff was very friendly and courteous. May not be the best for children or elderly, given the homeless population and questionable characters in the vicinity. As a capable man, I felt comfortable and safe. The homeless population in the area and a few of the fellow guests may make one uncomfortable. I was not approached or hassled, but I am capable of handling such scenarios, so I felt comfortable.

For last mintue trip. It did the job. If needed. I'd stay there again. Hot shower. Working AC and an okay bed

It smelled really bad of cigarettes and it was not clean

The place had stains everywhere, the bathtub, the walls. The toilet paper was used, the place was definitely not what they advertised.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room clean but not enough towels for 2 people. Only 1 set was given. Continental breakfast was minimal at best had to wait for coffee to be made then put in a thermos. It seems like they are trying to make it better so I give it a 5 out of 10…

Dirtiest property I’ve ever stayed at. Checked out early and the staff did not want to refund the days I didn’t stay. Expedia is also to blame the person helping me was no help at all and just ended our chat. No more Americas Best no more Expedia

Checked in went to room ,it smelled of smoke,cigarette in tiolet,bathtub filthy,went to office for refund,showed me another room ,it was also bad,asked for refund,I'd better get my money back,88 for room 100 for security deposit

Checked in evening...they did not have my room. Turns out this hotel house homeless. I had to go down the street to another hotel. They even have tables and tent shade in parking lot to eat at sit at. This is not a place to stay will family...Avoid at all cost. They lied and said maintenance problem so no room left. New hotel told me the truth, the contract out all their rooms for homeless. AVOID

Excellent staff....Very attentive and available. The rooms are great when you are looking for a bed to sleep in. There isn't a whole lot more.

The room was infested with cockroaches! Don't stay , don't book, just run! Roaches

Nothing I liked it there It was bugs crawling around in the room on the ceiling and on the bed

The floor, blankets and pillows were dirty.
