Days Inn by Wyndham Chico

For a low budget place it's what you'd expect. Ac cut out middle of the nite. So we all woke up sweaty. Breakfast was basic n they were out of sugar. Lots of cigarette butts left around from people staying there to light back up...coulda been the wind that blew them into the walkway and they cant really monitor that at nite so I guess that wasn't on them. Some suss people but its what you get for what ya pay. O and 1 bed was HELLA squeaky.

I checked out early and stayed at another place. This Motel is absolutely trash!!! The late night clerk didn't even sufficiently speak English, and i question whether he is here legally. Drug addicts everywhere, my room smelt like there used to be a meth lab in there. Why would the Days Inn buy this motel? At least the lady working the front desk the next morning was pretty nice when I checked out the next morning or otherwise i would have verbally laid into them like i am right here. She was the only positive about this place. I feel bad for her. My solution: Take a wrecking ball and destroy this place.

You can tell there are folks living there long term. When I arrived two women were smoking cigarettes outside their room. I even saw a cat in one of the rooms windows. Overall it’s generally quiet at night and the room was fine, but they could use some sprucing up. I’m not sure how housekeeping missed the mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. Seems like a huge oversight.

Arrived at 2:30 and room was not ready till 6:00 and then it was not cleaned properly and lots of transients walking through the property.

The free breakfast should not be advertised. There were a few bags of oatmeal and bananas…nothing else

The property was not well kept. We checked in late and there was nobody in the office and then when he did come he was not very friendly. The air conditioner barely worked. The refrigerator and lights went on and off all night long, So it didn't get cold in the fridge. Went to get some ice and there was none on property. Would not stay again!

The floor felt tacky. The outside of the room, ie; the walkways, could use a good cleaning. We got locked in the pool area. While we were in the pool, the employee who checked us in earlier in day, came into the pool area at 9pm, looked around, looked over to where our towels were then turned and walked out. We thought he was going to tell us the pool is now closed but when he left without saying anything to us we thought maybe its open later today. When we got out to leave that is when we noticed the door was chained at the bottom. We were able to get the night shift guy to come open it and let us out. ?‍♂️

Disappointing

The room was not well cleaned when we arrived. Dirty microwave, stuff in the freezer, hair pins etc. The property is in pretty bad condition. Walls are cracking, graffiti in the closet, shower faucet constantly leaking. The hallway outside of the room is also disgusting. You could see a lot signs of drug use. Service was not good. They could have cared less.
